Hi,

I have this version but I get small ball stutter....

Checkpoint 1.2 FS HD 1.2

https://www.vpforums...d8be64f3e35f6e3

I read that another people have the same problem. I have vp 921. Is there any way to fix this problem? Or has somebody and older version of this table 1.1 or 1.0 FS?

Thanks!

Having stutter on vp9 - isn't really expected as it is a very old engine that doesn't require much of the computer. Are you stuck on vp9 with very poor hardware ? If not, well - get the vpx https://vpinball.com...data-east-1991/ or at this site https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=44615

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

If the stutter is not due to poor performance, it could be due to shred/tear from out of sync frames
you might try setting vsync to your monitors refresh rate, VP9.2.1 has that setting

Checkpoint in Vp9 was the only table I had with serious stutter, so it might not be your hardware. The VPX version plays fine. Hope you get to the bottom of your issue

Same here, the VP9 table always stuttered, the VPX is fine (on the same hardware).

I don't think there is a fix for the stutter on the VP9 table, as I am sure someone would have fixed it if it were possible.

I have looked over it and dont see any obvious reasons for the stutter.

This version of the table is the conversion I did of Checkpoint 1.2 FS HD 1.2 from Requlem to desktop, because, with VP9, FS and desktop versions are in separated files

I've no stutter problem with both versions, so, I think it's perhaps a computer, or a "VPinball/VPinMAME" version problem

This version is the conversion I did of "Checkpoint 1.2 FS HD 1.2" from Requlem to desktop

There are no flashers on this table, these are images on ramps, for example, the one on the left, image "FlasherOrangeOff" on Ramp "Flash29" and "FlasherOrangeON" on Ramp "Flash29ON"

For me it works, I use the last VP9 version (VP995b) and the last VPinMAME version (VPinMAME33b_Minimal)

And I have no stutter problem with Checkpoint 1.2 FS HD 1.2 from Requlem

Perhaps you can try with VP995b, because VP921 is out of date, and with VPinMAME33b_Minimal if you don't have this version installed
