I've searched the settings but can't find the option to mark these systems as Visual Pinball system:

Can you point out where I can do that?

Thanks again.

I have used this excellent program more than once but now I have a problem.  when I use it to record more than 2 tables automatically it just keeps opening up more more editor's in between recordings so if I do 30 tables, I'll have 30 editors and tables open at the same time, It used to close down the editor in between each table...

It used to work fine in version 1.4 -- so then I tried 1.5 and 1.6 same thing..

I'm running the latest pinballx, The latest files for VP 10.2.1 and windows 10

It does this when recording vp9 or vp10

Make sure you are running it as Admin. I had the same trouble at one time.

Had the same issues once and it was indeed related to the admin rights. Also running win10. Hope you can solve this, pbxrecorder is a great tool gtcjoe made and I would be lost without it :).

Did you also set PBXRecorder exe to Run as Administrator?

EDIT:  I just re-read your post and it looks like you already tried...

Hello,

I used the wonderful utility to record my tables, but there is something that doesn't work as I expected. I'm not sure if it's a bug or I'm missing something.

I have 2 screens, one has a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. The other, 1920x1200. This is temporary setup. In the future it will be 2x displays of 1920x1080. So I want to capture at 1920x1080.

Now when I capture, the playfield always result in 1920x1200. I tried changing the resolution to 1920x1080, but then it doesn't capture anything.

I tried swapping the displays and it's the same problem. Even if the backglass is on the monitor at 1920x1200, it needs to be set at that exact resolution or it won't record.

Also, funny thing, if the playfield is on the 1920x1080 monitor and the backglass on the 1920x1200 monitor, again I still need to keep those resolution to be able to record, *and* what's strange is that the playfield mp4 video will be at 1920x1200!

It seems that both displays need to be set at the "recommended resolution" for it to work.

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with a Geforce 1050 with latest drivers. Tried other drivers and it's the same.

Any idea?

Thank you.

Pitou!

Ok conditions have changed. I replaced the 1920x1200 display with a 1080 one. I now have 2 identical displays at 1920x1080, but it still doesn't capture the playfield. Works fine for the backglass

FYI, I'm using version 1.5 64-bit

Do you have your windows display settings, your screen text settings and your settings in pinballX all identical

By screen text settings, you mean the 3rd screen DMD?

I have 2 screens and a PinDMDv3

I'll double check all resolution settings and post back.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Fan-tas-tic tool...thank you very much GTXJOE for it.

Some tables I only had an image or a blurry video  but now it's perfect and with very much easy, great!

Would it be possible in the future it will be able to capture the video of the dmd which I can not say here but is called the pin tooooooo    dmd ? (hope this works...)

Thank you again!

FYI - I uploaded a new version 1.6 with minor updates

- Automatically disable VPX truefullscreen so playfield video/image recording works
- Support use of table sub-folders
- Added playfield video rotation adjustment for different setups
- Bugfix - Support VP exe filenames containing spaces
- Find_New_Tables.exe will find all tables missing in the XML file and make it easy to add and setup

@Joppnl, PBXrecorder can only record from Windows displays so supporting real DMD can't be added.  (You could enable the virtual DMD on the backglass monitor temporarily to do your DMD only recordings)

Here is My Collection of DMD video recordings (Most are from sigma415 who gave me permission to share them)

Thank you GTXJOE!

With some EM tables, because there's not a 'freaking' light show in attract mode (to be more specific...there is no attract mode at all  .... )  I like to start the table, shoot the ball and play a little while PBXrecorder is recording.

Great to see it in the PBX frontend!

Thanks again for this great program!

Thanks for this great program, it is so helpful!

I have a question regarding the 32 or 64 bit versions available in the download section.  Does this reference the version of Windows we are running or the version of VPinMAME we are running?

Thanks.
