With VPX 10.1 all tables (included modulated flashers ones) are smooth on my 770 with these settings :

- nVidia : power mode = max perfs and max prerendered trames to 1,

- VPX : 4XAA brute-force enabled, FXAA disabled, Ambiant Occlusion on, Update in-game off, VSync 1 and max pre-rendered frames 1.

With VPX 10.2 and same settings, all tables are smooth except the modulated flashers one where ball has a little stuttering.

Now with my 1060 I can play all tables very smoothly with all graphics options enabled.

I guess 6 Gb of VRAM versus 2 Gb seriously helps :)

It's nice to be over the minimal specs so you don't have to worry about those things for a while.

Thanks to all involved!
Now that we have VPX10.2 final, do we still need to keep VPX10.1 too, maybe for particular tables?

VPX10.0 and 10.1 should not be necessary to keep, unless somebody proves me wrong.. ;)

I know this has been covered before elsewhere but my Search-Fu is coming up short.  I have Windows 10, playing desktop mode of VP9.x and VP10.x and the windows 10 taskbar is in front.  I could probably just set the windows 10 to auto-hide but I would like to know what the correct work around is.  I'm sorry if there is a proper pinned post about this issue that I've somehow overlooked so feel free to slap me around for not seeing it but I swear I have searched for over 2 hours for a solution.  Thanks ahead of time.

I have had Windows 10 for about 1 month (I'm back to Win7 now), and the only solution I found was to do not use the vpinmame window and use a text box for the dmd (or a flasher object). Otherwise each time the vpinmame came up also did the taskbar.

And congratulations with the release! :)

I have more than 200 vpx-tables and all of them work with Version 10.2
So I think, you can delete or backup the older versions.

OK, I realize my problem now.  I play in desktop mode AND I have a PinDMD3.  I keep forgetting that the directx/VPX display and the PinDMD3 display cannot be activated simultaneously.  This is why when I activate the VPM direct draw display that the task bar appears.  I guess what I'm going to have to do is rig up a shelf above my TV for my PinDMD3 display so that it is more in my view rather than way off to the side.  Thanks for all your help!

Best Regards,

Kruge99.

My changes to all Cameral/Lights settings all stay except for "environment emission", that one always goes back to the default of "2 when I leave the Camera/Lights screen.  Any ideas of what I need to change to make this work.  I am running VPX_2_beta_rev2881.
