Okay, well, thanks. Good to know it's working for you.

flexdmd works well for the KISSDMDV2 table that doesn't want to work before reinstalling windows and Masters of the Universe works very well but as soon as there is the diablo script or Slimer 2.1.0 in the diablo table folder where the slimer table stops I'm better than before.  

 

virtualdmd every time I turn it on, it crashes the tables.

in DmdDevice.ini.

Are you using Freezy 1.73?

thank you the info was good it all worked out I was sure I put what the author proposed. 

but I put the old ones back when I reintroduced windows.

I have just tested FlexDMD with Pokemon Pinball. It seems very promising to me. I have han issue though. The image is very blurry compared to the original display on the main table. 

I use the following command:

virtualdmd enabled=true
virtualdmd left = 2234
virtualdmd top = 791
virtualdmd width = 512
virtualdmd height = 144

 

I have a 1280x1024 backglass display. I tried to change the 128x36 values in the vbs script but it created other troubles (big changes in text sizes from one time to another one).

Any advice?

I have change the frezzy files to 1.73 version. Add the flexdmd file and register flexdmd and ultradmd. Now if i start the table without change the script all seems to work, i don't have the ultradmd screen on table startup. I have the text on dmd white. It's normal that the tablet work without change in the script? How can i change my text color? tnx

Show us what you changed - if you get that error it is most probably related to something you haven't done correctly earlier in the code.

My problem is that i want to text on dmd in Red, and not in White. I have full color in diablo, all video are colored without problem but the text is white. I add a part in the script

I have error if i enale the flexdmd.color and remove ' from it. 

But now i think to understand that is good if i want all dmd in only one color, as an old pinball. I only want to have the text in a color that i can choose .

 

In the Diablo original script, there is this part

I change the DMDColorSelect and i have the text in the color that i want. 

Now this part was delete from the script and i don't know how can i add it

I have a Pindmd3 and it worked perfect for first day. Now every table that uses this I get a virtual dmd on the play field and can not get rid of it... only way is by hitting windows key on keyboard and then closing the window... any ideas or solutions?

I believe you are talking about pinmame dmd - hit F1 and untick the option for it. Keep the external ( freezy ) on.

Hi, It seems like a bug (or more a missing feature ; for the time being, FlexDMD is either color and text is white, or monochrome and everything is the same color) on the FlexDMD side ; I will have to investigate and patch it for this to be correct. I will have a look by the end of the week.

I see the static images but no videos ... i dont get it. for example the diablo table, i see the diablo head behind the score, but black screen when i start an act .. i have unblocked all the dll and exe i think and i hadnt this pb with ultradmd.

 

any clue on this ?

FlexDMD uses the windows video decoding. If you have an old Windows 7, it may be missing the latest wmv decoders used in Diablo videos. UltraDMD use LAV Filters, so it behave differently.

Based on this, all Windows 7 should be ok... But sometimes...
