Nice pics Arcade4, you still have SWEp1? Nice collection

Yes. I currently have SWEp1, RFM, Twilight Zone, Addams Family and my Virtual Cab.
But I have restored over 100 pinballs over the years, so a lot of pins have been in and out of my gameroom.

Awesome job UW. I don't know how you guys do it. Your tables are so realistic it's awesome. I've been putzing around trying to make an original and it looks like CRAP compared to the gold you and the others are creating.

thanks to Rom for sending me some plastics, ill be making a lot of progress on this soon. and thanks to grizzly for his fabulous art and creativity.

i took today to work on lighting for grizzly and hassancops splash and dash.

as for making tables look realistic. take a look at the authors tables you like and you think look the most real. see how they make there objects and borrow from them. feel free to use any object texture or sound or scripts from any of my tables. if you'd like i could send you my starter table which already has some objects coded like bumpers and animated slings.

my 2 originals are looking pretty realistic.
honestly i think it is the playfield plastics and apron artwork that make them look so good.

thank god for grizz or my tables would look pretty crappy

Very proud of rom, he does great work & only been around such a short time. Anyways, This is not an advertisement noah i only wish i owned a machine like this dblthumb.gif Guy is selling a BBB game # 58 on clist. It has less than 250 plays and it is in mint condition for 15k. Firgured i would post the pics. Most interesting thing, i did not know you could switch out the dancers. Spare Alien chick, but what about the human figure. Be neat to get a model of it & can switch the dancer out just like on the real machine smile.gif

Thanks for vr13 vr13 for this info

i got to play this a bunch at cax and it is really fun table. ill also get regular play once the national pinball museum opens up. if i had 15k id buy it in a heartbeat.

oh and as for the dancer. i plan on having the option in a menu to switch out the dancers between the alien and the human

I just remembered that SS Billiards in Hopkins, MN has a big bang bar pinball. I've talked with the owner a number of times; I wouldn't be surprised if he let me take some high quality pics of the pin. If there's something specific you still need for the build let me know if I can help out.

I have played that machine before. SS Billiards is like 2 miles from where I work, so sometimes I pop in to play. It's in perfect condition.

Nice. I live out on the east side of the twin cities so it's a little bit of a haul for me. Every time I've been there he's had it shut-off and not ready for play. Gotta go there for a tourney one of these days when he has it fired up.

Any other good spots on the west side you like to play pinball? I'm always looking to add places to my list!

I always do the monthly Blainebrook tournaments. I did one just last Sunday where me & 2 friends go up have fun there. I finished 3rd....in the B division. In one of the rounds it was me and just 2 others. Got pick of the machines, so I went for Centaur, Fun House & High Speed 2. Won all 3. Lost my ass in the 3rd round, where I won a tiebreaker for 3rd. Gotta do better on the qualifying rounds.

Still need to find a place that has a Transformers. Supposedly Mortimer's has one, so I might shoot for that this weekend. The pinball locator websites are typically out of date.

I've been to blainebrook a number of times, but never for a tourney. Might have to hit that up sometime. How many people total are usually there for a tourney? How do they structure it? Soiunds like there's at least two "divisons..."

I was at mortimer's about two weeks ago but they did not have Transformers - LOTR, POTC, TRON, DALE Jr. and IRON MAN. I actually went to peter's billiards (retail store) and played the pro version. Played pretty fast; was cool enough for me to order my own Transformers LE, which should be arriving next week sometime. Can't wait (huge transformers and robot fan)

Usually 25-30 show for the tournament. It's done PAPA-style scoring. A-division's the top 20, rest is B, or something like that.
Not at Mortimer's, huh? Darn. I know Rufer's delivering 4 Transformers cabs. Are you one of them? I wanna play(and look at your Hyperpin cab). I'm contemplating ordering the MiniPAC.
