Thanks for the update, plays great!

I got the ball stuck twice at this location though:

attachicon.gifij.jpg

It wasn't possible to free the ball with nudging, had to exit the table. Did anybody else have this problem?

I wonder if that line in the middle of the ramp right next to the ball supposed to be there. If yes, what is that on the real table?

Personally I do not see anything that could stuck the ball.
A test to do is to put the physical walls of the Ramp Rde to 62.

If this does not solve the problem, you have to redesign a bit the ramp.

Left Wall 62

Right Wall 62

In the real table under the ramp there is a metal guide (made in the shape of T) that separates the two light bulbs.

Thanks for the update

Max

Sometimes I had this problem in Indiana Jones -FS-Lord Hiryu-VP9-v1-2 HR 25-12-2010 table.

So it's not new.

I've just tried this table with the ball reflection from rev.642. It's the icing on the cake!

Thanks for the update; the BMPR indeed makes the table play quite differently and it became more challenging (and it wasn't easy to begin with).

I'm not sure if it makes the table play more true to the original... can anyone compare?

Also, I noticed that the ball drain sound is gone with this update (1.3). Was this intentional?

No it's not intentional (missing drain sound)... I though I replaced it with another sound (the original was not very good...). Apparently I have missed that. I will check and fix for the next version.

Just checked all 3 versions I have uploaded and they all had the drain sound. It's different from the previous versions (new is from JP's table) but it's there :)

Ah, i see... yes, there is another drain sound in the newest update.... for some reason I sort of liked the previous one, so I can always replace the new sound with the old. The new is very clean but more generic :)

I just thought there is a reason for the old sound, maybe that the real table had also that unusual, strong crash-like drain sound.

Does anyone know how the real machine is?

Edit: Never mind... I checked a few YouTube videos, and the old drain sound is not heard so the new one is more accurate.

Hello Teppotee!

Thank you so much for the 920 updates(especially for the sttng one!!!!).

I see you updated Indi nightmod too.

I have an ask, if you have a little more time, would you please update Indiana Jones VP916 MOD 1.3 BMPR FS too please ?

I like the daymods, and i play your "normal" version only not the nightmod.

If you not have time it's np i will play 1.3 BMPR with older Visual pinball version , just i saw this one still not updated :)

Merry xmas friend.

Best regards

Sheltemke

and would it be possible to have an option to disable bmpr? no offense, but for me the ball is falling down too quick compared to the other tables, i'm not used to that, and i have problems enjoying it.

Thanks Teppotee!  It's nice to see the Idol back.

I'm not sure bmpr itself is a problem, but I do agree that the ball drains too aggressively on this table.   It feels like there's a magnet pulling the ball downwards.    Try changing the Gravity Constant from 1.7 to 1.6, and the slope from 5.5 to 5.     The whole thing plays more naturally to me this way, the ramp shots feel more natural as well.   The ball may seem a bit float at first, but comparing it to this video of a real Indy:

it seems normal.

Lowering the slope should help a lot (and even lowering the gravity if still needed). I tweaked the game based on another video (don't have a link to that now...) that played much faster than the above video. But I do agree... the current VP version is damn hard :) You can also disable the bmpr just by disabling the MomentumTimer from the editor. Personally I really like the feeling and added weight that bmpr brings to the ball / game play (even in it's "Lite" form -> not fully tweaked like jimmyfingers' releases).

I will try to upload the fixed Day version during the weekend (if ClarkKent sends me the version where he has already swapped the NM textures to Day versions).
