True. The sounds are not too far off. That's why I suggested waiting, other than messing with them all.

sub sollflip(enabled)
if enabled then
lflipper.speed=flipup
playsound "flipperup"
lflipper.rotatetoend
else
lflipper.speed=flipdn
playsound "flipperdown"
lflipper.rotatetostart
end if
end sub
sub solrflip(enabled)
if enabled then
rflipper.speed=flipup
playsound "flipperup"
rflipper.rotatetoend
else
rflipper.speed=flipdn
playsound "flipperdown"
rflipper.rotatetostart

Import the quieter sound with the sound manager with a new name at put it there.

The only real problem I see with this build besides the shaker is the impeding of the full flipper swing to accommodate the reel based lights in front of them. It's a shame.

I suspect that the shaker is working. There is just no visual feedback.
I guess that because nudging has no visual feedback either.
I closed the coin door hoping that would fix it.

Does other people get the visual feedback when nudging? The code seems to be there for it as well as the shaker.

Is this a VP9 issue? Seems to be. I just tried to play mmpac and it has no visual feedback either. I guess I should have actually played it instead of just converting it to VP9. Just tried table1 (a new table) and it don't work there. I know for a fact that it works with T2_RC though it's very weak, probably by design.

StartShake Well what do you know? Should be called EnableShake. Actually it should have been left alone. Sure, it may be documented, but I'm obviously not the only one that missed it.

An update with StartShake, non reel lights in the realistic flipper swing, and sound balance will make this table a 10.
Needless to say, my copy has two non working lights for now.

Ok.

As well as putting StartShake in the rs_init sub, enable these lines (delete the ' at the start),
You will have visible nudging and the shaker motor will work.

Sub SolShakerMotor(enabled)
if enabled then
' shakeit.enabled=true
playsound shaker
else
' shakeit.enabled=false
end if
'motorsound (either from earthshaker or find one from a website)
End Sub

There is something wrong with this table. It has a blue tint to it. Here is a screenshot of what I see:

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Red & Ted's Roadshow VP9 - Jamin1.2

Version: 1.2.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): Jamin

Description:
4:3 VPM Table
Was made for vp9.05 - it has overlapping reels and uses an image larger than 1024x1024 for the main decal on the backdrop (needs HD render box checked). Included is a 1024x1024 image if your setup doesn't like images larger than 1024x1024 or if you need HD render box unchecked. If you need to use the 1024x1024 image just change the decal on the backdrop from using fullview 1-2 final to full 1

Great table and alot of work put in. Thanx jamin....

The only thing I find I don't like is the flipper range. On my machine, it seems the flippers have a very small radius to move in, and move only a short way..thus the power seems very low and i find it hard to get the ball to go very far.

Does anyone else see this or have a solution? I would like to allow the flippers to have more movement, and I think this would solve the problem. The side flippers seem okay, I am talking about the main flippers really.

Thanx.
Maceman

EDIT__________________

Okay, I was able to fix this issue on my machine by highlighting the flipper and changing the end angle to 40 - 40 instead of 70 -70.

One other glitch on mine i found is that the graphic of the road signs just in front of the flippers sit 'on top' of the flippers when in the raised position, rather than under the flippers. Anyone know how to correct that?
