This table is not working good for me. The first time I started and played it, I could hear all sound and effects but after some seconds the flippers started to don't work good and got stuck time to time. Now every time I play the table I can't hear all the sound and effects, for example I don't hear the "beats".

I never made any change or saved any change to the table. I also tried and delete the registry entries for the rom. But nothing changes. Also tried version 1.3.0 of the table. Still same issues.

Any idea?

I admit. That sounds really weird. Especially since you say that it was working and now it doesn't. Maybe try a full clean.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I got it to work but had to restart a bunch of times to do so. Maybe try that Boslaw

I can get this table to load but I cannot insert a coin or start a game. The plunger works and I can get some responses from the ROM by pushing 7, 8, 9 and 10 keys and can even get the ROM to load a ball onto the playfield for what seems to be some sort of test mode but no matter what I do I cannot get the game to load a coin and start a normal game. Is there some trick to the ROM to get it to initialize normal play?

Mmmmh. Works fine here ... you´ve tried to delete your old nvram file?

No problems for me either.

This is not a table that needs a pre-initialized nvram to accept coins.

You can try this nvram added as attachment.

Should have a couple credits already on it.

Attached File  grgar_l1 nvram.zip   180bytes   15 downloads

Extract content of zip file to your nvram folder located where VPinMAME is installed.

Hope this helps you get it working.

Does this table need these?

It is not part of that package, so I would say no.

I appreciate all the responses. I started out with deleting the nvram file and that did not help. I then downloaded and installed the nvram file from Xenonph and the table initialized and played so thank you that solved the problem! Really enjoying the table.

Note that I had the exact same problem on both my cabinet and desktop. I put the VPX and B2S file in the TABLES folder and the grgar_l1.zip ROM file in the ROMS folder. When starting the table it won't light up and only the plunger works. Using the 7, 8, 9 and 0 keys can get some responses out of the ROM either cycling through sounds or numbers on the backglass/dmd display. Nothing I was able to do would let me insert a coin or start a game until I installed the nvram file from Xenonph.
