Yes, the table looks very good in FS with the layback feature. I nearly didn't need to change any object. Normally when rotating a table I have to make many objects higher to make them look good. But in this table I only made Rudy a little bigger and changed the 3 orange plastics on the left ramp.

I mean no dis-respect and I hope I am not stepping on anyones toes by posting this,
but I have been messing around with some alternative Lay Back #'s..... still testing these out.
my goal was to match the angles up with this picture..
http://www.ipdb.org/...&...8816&zoom=1

Attached File  funhouse.jpg   365.64KB   294 downloadsAttached File  funhouse.jpg   365.64KB   294 downloads

Inclination= 12
Field of View= 55
Layback= 85
X Scale= 1.21
Y Scale= 1.83
X Offset= -360
Y Offset= 295

Inc / FOV / LB are all numbers higher than what I typically use to match up a table, and it took me a while to match things up, especially the height of Rudys head. I am not saying this is perfect and I am still going to mess around with it a bit.

Thanks again JP for another great recreation.
Sorry, I did not have time to take a cabinet shot to post.

JP, i hope you don't mind but i change this on mine:

' Impulse Plunger
Const IMPowerSetting = 56 ' Plunger Power

I also changed the flippers to recoil=32; elasticity 0.65

This works well for me and maybe others??

Cheers,
Maceman

Scott I trie your settings but they were a little to extreme for me so narrow at the top. So I split the difference.

Inclination= 10
Field of View= 40
Layback= 93
X Scale= 1.23
Y Scale= 1.92
X Offset= -363
Y Offset= 282

looks pretty good!

Works just fine on Win 7 X64 with Nvidia GTX 480 & Core i7 930 @ 4.0 GhZ with all latest updates installed using VP 9.1.2
I didn't have to change or mod anything.

What is everyone's reasons to use an outdated VP? when table releases are adding alpha ramps which AFAIK, is only in new VP versions.

Thanks as always JP, I spend many wonderful hours playing your tables smile.gif

Thanks for another great table. I do have some graphic garbage left behind the ball on the left side above the upper flipper. It makes hitting rudy a little bit harder since its hard to see the ball coming down clearly. Any ideas as to why. I have nvidia 450 with latest drivers, xp, running 32bit 1280x1024, core i7. I used to have this problem with totan, but was fixed with the latest update to that table.

Try change to this settings in the Backdrop options:

x-scale 1,28
y-scale to 2
x-offset -370
y-offset 270

Cheers!

Try X Scale= 1.21

Also lower the Y scale as needed

Just keep making the numbers smaller until it works. smile.gif

Does anyone have any idea why this table in particular seems to be a heavy resource hog?

I'm not running VP on a modern machine (integrated graphics), but a table like Elvis or Medieval Madness runs smooth as butter, while this one really seems to struggle a lot, even during regular non-hectic play.

Changed the X Scale to 1.19 and the y scale to 1.97 and now there are no problems seeing the ball from the upper left loop.

I think you have to do it yourself. There's no posting from the author that he uploaded a new version.

I have plans to make an update for VP915, mostly to fix that ramp. I also have new textures for the ramps, that will make the table look better :) and some flashers, and koadic plunger, and ....

By reading the thread, i get the impression that you just change the backdrop options to fix the problem.

Has anyone had issues running this table after installing a pinDMD2?  I can slowly get past the test screen, but when I try to start it loops itself back to the initial start test.

I love this table. JP did a great job. Starts to slow down big time after a few games though. Not sure what to check?? Anyone know what to look at? FXAA is turned off. I have textures at 2048 and alpha ramp accuracy is all the way up. I have a GTX 970 running both the back glass and the game. Other tables don't seem to have this issue but I mostly play on VPX. Anyone have input?
