I've noticed a possible bug. While playing, hitting the coin or start button will reset the game (clearing the score and starting over). My buttons are on the front of the cabinet and are, unfortunately, prone to getting bumped while playing.

Can you check to see if it has same behaviour on the original table, before you modded it?

I am not experiencing reset of game from Coin Insert or Player1 Start.

It does happen with the original file. I extracted a copy of the table and backglass to another folder outside the visual pinball directory.

Now I see what you are saying.
I think you will find all tables do this.

Insert enough coins to have 2 credits.

Start 1 Player game.

Play your first ball, and after it drains, and sends second ball to plunger area, hit Player 1 start again.

This starts new game.

I am guessing this is how the actual machines operated also.

I just tested this on Flash Gordon, and it does the same thing.

Go ahead and test other tables, and see if it does same.

Ah, I just noticed I had a bunch of extra credits when I started the table. That one's on me!

Still having a lot of fun with this table. My wife really loved it.

Three questions:

1) Is there a way to adjust the timing of the grotto kicker? it holds the ball a little too long.

2) What is involved to getting a flasher to work? I'd like to implement one in another board I'm modifying and I'm not quite understanding how to make it work.

3) Does the grottogate_timer subroutine do anything? Seems like it may be a vestige from a previous script.

Glad you are still enjoying the table!

1. That kicker is rom controlled.

2. Try looking for Fluppers Flashers Resource table. (Instructions are included with his resource table.)

3. When I made these timers, I had no knowledge of how to make my own timers, so I used the current subs names as timers. (Notice there are no timer objects for any of these timers.) Keep in mind that this was one of my first table mods, so I didn't know how to make my own timers back then. It is amazing that this worked at all! lol

Not having any luck finding info on Fluppers (except links to other tables you've created). You wouldn't happen to have a link handy?

I also had trouble finding it!

It used to be called Fluppers Flashers, or Fluppers Domes.
It is now just called Pinball Domes.

Updated table.

v4.2
Added the music to Sound Manager, so no Music folders to mess with.

Merry Christmas to all!
