Hi, I don't have...

incredible as it may seem, even with Christian's help, I still don't have the sounds on the table... I ran it on two different machines and on both the same thing... mystery

I guess you need the sound samples. Some Bally tables need those sounds. So go to the "Getting Started" menu, then in "Essential Files" download the "Sound Samples (required)" and placed the zip file in the Samples folder. Run the table and press F1 and see if the "Use Samples" is checked.

Love your tables but i am having problems with this update. The option screen that pops up on loading says this will show only once but happens all the time.

Most times the play button will just remove credits and not start the table.

If the table opens it might play one or two balls and then wont launch another ball.

I have no problems with the previous version of this table.

Thanks

My table has no option on the start up. The only options are the ones with the F6 key, like in many other tables from that era (thanks to Inkochnito for those menus).

So I don't know what you are seeing, could you take a screenshot?

There are no changes in the vpinmame script, so it should play just like the old one.

Same happening here. Keeps saying you only have to set this once, but pops up on every table start.

I tried other versions of Lost World, and same thing happens. Do it nothing you did.

It says on table startup..

VBS Script

Please select your game options!

You will only have to do this once!

I can't imagine updating all the tables you have done so far!!

Thanks my friend!!

Your work is appreciated!!

To remove startup option message:

Add a remark at line 118

118 '    if Controller.Dip(0) < 1 then Controller.Pause = true:msgBox "Please select your game options!" & vbNewLine & "You will only have to do this once!":vpmShowDips:Controller.Pause = false

Seems to work fine! :)

Thanks Mrtr32! I completely forgot about that line! I can't even remember if that window came up at all in my setup.

Those settings are saved in the nvram. I'll delete the nvram file and I'll see if that menu pops up :)

Well, it looks like that DIP(0) is only set if you change the options of sounds to noise and/or you select to give a credit with the High Score to Date.

So, simply delete that line 118 :D

I'll reupload the table without that line in a few moments :)

....

I have reuploaded the table without that line :)

I guess when I made my VP9 table I did set the option to get a credit if I got a highscore, so I never saw that window again :)

Well, now it will not pop up automatically again :) Just remember to press F6 to set some option you may prefer :)

Update 1.0.1
- fixed 2 non-collidable ball guides, the ball could get stuck.

I remember adjusting those 2 ball guides and made them collidable, I guess the changes got lost during one of the crashes.

@Brer Frog: That's the reason why the ball got stuck at the top.

I have a few requests, Panthera, Elvis, Rollercoaster, more older tables from the 80's :)

Now I'llI take a small break. In two weeks I'll take a vacation, and I guess after the summer is gone I'll make a few more tables :)

Those older tables are quite easy to make with VPX :)

dont see1968 williams lady luck

1964 williams riverboat1954 screamo

hurdy gurdy

1957 williams naples

1977 stern rawhide

1964 red baron

1969 williams suspense

1959 sweet sioux

1964 gtb sea shore

just a few from the 50's/60's

if i could make i would but i  am not clever enough

but thank you for all the ones you have made

it just seems tables from the 1950's/1960's are getting left behind

Thank's for this table !

I played it "a lot", and it's awesomely hard !

The outlane seems to strive the ball ! Every time the ball have a rebound on the bottom right or left, the ball is spinning strangely, and going right into the outlanes. The rebound are strange.

Argh, is it like the real table ?

Did someone feel someting like this ?

First time the rebound looks unnatural on VPX for me.

You are right! I forgot to import my VPX7 physics. I did it once, but the table crashed, and I forgot to load the physics again. I'll fix that in a few minutes :)

Well, that's en emulation thing, and I know it doesn't sound just like the video, but there are several dip switches that let you choose what kind of sounds you prefer. Just run the table, press F6 and choose the sounds you prefer. There are chimes, chimes and tunes, noise and noise and tunes.
