Any chance there's a fantasy version of this table that plays the theme song? (BTW, thank you JP for another great table!!!)

I think the enjoyment level of playing this would go through the roof if we could listen to the theme song :)

UPDATE

3.0.1 Updated 23.04.2021
- brighten up the left targets orange lights
- retouched the playfield a little
- added the original Globe Trotters song :)

I find the song a little annoying in the long run, but it is easy to remove, as it is just one line at the top of the script:

PlaySound"Song", -1, 0.3     '0.3 is the volume, just change it to your preferences

So just remove that line if you don't like it :)

That's the definition of iconic , i'm not even from the USA but in my long lost youth that version of Sweet Georgia Brown was completely linked to the Harlem Globetrotters. I still remember being amazed when in my country they aired a documentary about their world wide tours

Couldn't even imagine playing the related pinball without this song in the background :)

So much that it's the 1.2.0 version i was playing from JP table that pushed me in adding the music in the script (after looking into other tables to learn how they were doing it).

I ported then the simple script snippet to the 3.0.0 when JP released it as the new physics are so good it really improved the gameplay of the table to me, thanks so much for that .

Great to see this new 3.0.1 version comes with it (and it seems that's the same version of the song that i picked) for people that do not know how to implement it themselves.

Looking at the script it looks like it's implemented very differently from usual (by usual i mean the usual script snippet i used from other tabls), as it's an OGG that is in the table files instead of the usual external MP3, and in the script from what i see it is not implemented the same way as i knew. The song also start while the game is still loading too.

Is this something new to the VPX 1.07 features ?

Yes, this is a new feature of VPX 10.7, as you can load mp3 and ogg files directly in the VPX files, then you can use the PlaySound instead of the PlayMusic. The PlaySound is very powerful, and you have full control over the sound.

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 28.9.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- Some small small script updates, like the Rolling sound and PlaySoundAt routines.
- Made the light inserts warmer.

I also added the missing desktop lights (Game Over, tilt, match...)

I don't have any rom sounds. Only the default flipper/bumper etc (but not the beeping sounds that should be part of the rom).
I tried both roms (6 and 7 digit). The roms have (according to vpinmame) the sound file. Is this something in the script as well, or do I miss something ?(open door for Wiesshund to react on this)

Congrats with your anniversary.
I used to have an old fashion pen and paper for all my cab notes, but changed it to one note from microsoft, to have it digitally.
Didnt have this one in my onenote, but think it was written some where on paper
Anyway thanks buddy!

EDIT :

Although everything for sound in vpinmame for the rom is set to 100%, I still don't have any sounds for this ROM. I downloaded the rom again, but no luck.
No issues with Countdown (for example)
