see attached errors. I have the files in c:\pinball\visual pinball\tables\ultraDMD\the web. Not sure what I'm missing. I have legend of Zelda the same way and that works fine. In fact the ultradmd
splash/intro screen pops up then I get the errors. please advise. Thanks

Hi bpjacobsen,

do You have installed UltraDMD correctly and is the Demo-table working (test.vpt inside the UltraDMD installation folder)?

Second, do You have placed the folder The Web.UltraDMD at the same directory as the table? I had crashes sometimes if I referenced to a non-existing image.

Regards

Michael

Hi shannon,

do You have a B2S backglass active and is it the one, I created?

When does the error occur? During gameplay or at the start of the table?

Michael

Hi Michael,

I just tried playing this table for the first time in a while and am now getting  a  "Can't open controller.vbs" error that I didn't get previously. I believe I'm using the most recent VP files: VP9.9.2 and the scripts from VPX 2 beta 2794. Am I missing something? Thanks.

i saw the issue a while ago, without being able to find what the issue is, because the controller.vbs is used by hundreds of tables now the same way.

i give it a crack again and found the issue :)

at the line 93, comment the directory variable creation, because it is created already in the controller.vbs, as a constant

Dim WshShell,filecheck',directory

The issue pops up only with the new controller.vbs that uses the registry

Michael, if you can rename that directory variable, then there is no issue anymore ;)

Thanks to both of you! I've always enjoyed this table, and it's good to have a VP version.

Hi,

I forgot to implement the highscore entry fix, I wanted to add some time ago. The confirm key for the highscore letters is the plunger key, as in the original PC game.

Michael- wanted to say very good job on this one- I happened to pick up the PlayStation version about a month ago and this version plays just as well!

Being that its a re-coded game, perhaps we should update it... WIKILEAKS MULTIBALL!!!    that would be when all locked balls are ejected prematurely and messes up whatever modes are in play :)
