Yes please do a physmod version :) The couch ball lock is not a bug but a feature, you have to go into the service menu and go to Feature adjustment 29 and set Couch EB memory to NO Feature adjustment 35 and set Hold couch locks to Never

The feature you are talking about is to do with it remembering the Extra Ball (EB)
The issue is that on the table the locked balls are not released at game over.

Maybe i quoted the wrong feature, but on my cab it releases the couch balls at game over.. I remember that I changed a value to make it work

Edit: Adjustment feature 35 Hold couch locks  needs to be set to Never

I can confirm that this is not a bug. I have the real Pinball and also there the balls did not release after game over. After changing the settings it was ok. The game does keep track of how many balls there should be locked, so if you leave it as it is and you lock a ball, one of the locked balls will be released instead of a new ball at the plunger.

Dark, this update is absolutely brilliant, pure eye candy! The Homer trick was the bomb and the latest changes just put icing on the cake. You elevated this table from already pretty great all the way to the top of the "wow-your-friends" shortlist. Many thanks for your hard work and sharing your talents with the VPF community!

dark thought you might want to know but the ramps for this on the real world table are actually see through orange not red. Here are some pictures from the last time I was there, I meant to send this to you last week but forgot. 😃

The render is transparent but there's nothing behind to see.

I have some decent pics.

I figured you had some good pics.

It's hard to tell though that the ramp is actually orange without the lights light up behind it. That's why I thought I would point it out and post the pics I took when I was there last week.

Yeah I can't color match it worth a damn because it's completely different depending on the light levels, but right now I'm having a few issues with it lining up on the table that need dealing with before I can worry about the plastic material.

I agree lining up model ramps is a pain in the ass. Good luck man if you need another eye on it or some help hit me up on a PM!

The table is great!
Do you have plans porting it to VP10?

Niceeeee .... this is another of my favs tables. Now we need Comic Guy model and skating Bart model :D

BTW, I was playing yesterday this table and there is something wrong with the lightning in the Comic Guy ... it drops like some kind of hard shadow (intermitent)

Anyone with the same problem? :tapping:

I personally have no plans to do this since I'm not a table author - I only know VP editor basics.

We have models from the FP version for comic guy and Bart but I haven't added them yet since I'm not sure how much I like them.  The models are nice and low poly but the quality isn't the best - not bad but not great either.  The Bart model actually looks pretty good but my issue with it is that Bart is wearing his normal garb and a backwards hat instead of wearing the dare devil bart outfit that I've seen in every photo of the table.  I'd like to maybe have a go at modeling Bart but I'm not making any promises on that yet.  As far as Comic guy, I think when his alternate images go off there's some extra artifacts or something that are causing some undesired effects.  Right now I'm working on updating the ramps and replacing a lot of small pieces with primitives.

I have to take a bit of a break from this project to help out on another table but I am still working on updating many elements of SPP.
