1 - How do I change the key that activates the smart missle? I have this on a cab and don't want to add another buton just for one table. I'd like to move it to an alt key as that is what I use for magnasave on other tables.

QUOTE (CaptainNeo @ Jun 1 2012, 02:23 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
yea, i'd like to know more about the smart missle thing too. Also want to use a magna save button for it.

To change the button for the smart missile to the magnasave keys, add code in red....
CODE
' Keyboard Handling
Sub JurassicPark_KeyUp(ByVal keycode)
If vpmKeyUp(keycode) Then Exit Sub
If keycode = PlungerKey Then : controller.switch(41) = False : End If 'Launch Trigger
If keycode = KeyUpperLeft Then : controller.switch(42) = False : End If 'Smart Bomb Button
If keycode = KeyUpperRight Then : controller.switch(42) = False : End If 'Smart Bomb Button
If keycode = RightMagnaSave or keycode = LeftMagnaSave Then : controller.switch(42) = False : End If 'Smart Bomb Button
End Sub

Sub JurassicPark_KeyDown(ByVal keycode)
If vpmKeyUp(keycode) Then Exit Sub
If keycode = PlungerKey Then : controller.switch(41) = True : End If 'Launch Trigger
If keycode = KeyUpperLeft Then : controller.switch(42) = True : End If 'Smart Bomb Button
If keycode = KeyUpperRight Then : controller.switch(42) = True : End If 'Smart Bomb Button
If keycode = RightMagnaSave or keycode = LeftMagnaSave Then : controller.switch(42) = True : End If 'Smart Bomb Button
If keycode = 207 Then : CoinDoorOpen = Not CoinDoorOpen : End If 'Control Coin Door (END Key) Track Variable for Toggle Switch Display
End Sub

Thank you so much. That works perfectly now.

Any thoughts why I would get a script error everytime I load the table for the first time? This is the only thing preventing me from playing ito in my cab.

I see that the latest release is v1.5, but when I download the VPT file, I see v1.3.7 in the Table Info.

Where can I download v1.5? I have the 'ball getting stuck' problem.

Was this ever updated to fix the ball getting stuck between the pop bumper and gate?  Happens every game and it makes this table practically unplayable for me.  :(  I tried making the screw un-collidable, I tried adding invisible walls at different angles and shapes, but I can't fix the issue.

Also, the sounds are still missing when you enter the control room, power shed and bunker.

I downloaded version 1.5 today, but the table info says 1.0.3.7, like bnx said. Maybe that's why there are issues?

Real game does same thing with stick ball. Just nudge it it will free up. I hope they never fix it as it makes it more of a true emulation

Well, if that's how the real machine works then I guess that makes sense.  Haven't played the real one since it came out so I'm forgetting now.  Thanks, and nudge does free it up as you suggested.  Aren't there supposed to be sounds though when you enter those 3 holes?  And if so, is there a way for me to include that wav file posted earlier into the game?

Ball getting stuck is a PITA...whether on VP or a real table. I'd like to see someone fix it as well

Here is what I did to fix the ball getting stuck in the gate.     In the script change the IMPowerSetting to 30.    I think the original value was 31.    Sounds counter-intuitive but it works now 90% of the time.

Godzilla is NOT a dinosaur, he's a mutated lizard causes by the foolishness of man, totally unlike the dinosaurs of Jurassic park, which exist also due to the foolishness of man... Hey wait a sec, you were right all along Bob!

talking about it ... that table looks ... "weird" ... to put it that way. Great table (code and all) ... but ... but ....
