JP, thanks for the update. I have noticed (i think) a ramp missing where the coffin lock hole is. I noticed when playing that i would shot the ball where the coffin lock hole was and it looked like the ball was going through the wall where the coffin lock hole was and carry around the ramp!. Its only when i noticed the metal entrance to the ramp moving up and down that there should be a alpha transparent ramp there but it appears to be missing??.

If you have added the ramp there is there any way to make it more noticeable as at the moment it looks like the ball is going through the coffin lock wall all the time?

Thanks JP for this, and all the other tables you have made. Now take a well deserved break. We'll still be flipping the ball around when you get back! Cheers my friend! drinks.gif

Como se puede ser tan bueno haciendo mesas.
Es alucinante la mesa y la bola imantada que se pasea por la mesa es un aurtentico lujo.
Increible JP, realmente increible.
Mis mas sinceras felicitaciones. Muchisimas gracias.

Saludos!

arghh...

I can't get the DMD to load up. Everything else works fine. I've never had a DMD no-show issue before. I tried all the dracula roms as well, no go...

sad.gif

edit: okay, was able to get DMD going. I had to reinstall the game. I think if you set up UVP BEFORE actually setting up the DMD, it causes some glitch. It did with me anyways...glad to have it restored.

JP, Thanx again for all your work. It would be interesting to compare this creation to some of the others you've done...reason being is that my FPS do not exceed 95 on this table, which is quite low. Out of curiosity, are there more drop walls on this one??

Cheers,
Maceman

@lettuce: the ramp can be made visible by selecting the ramps and change the properties at the right side of the editor, so the ramp is transparent, like any other transparent ramp. The problem is that it won't move up & down (ramps can't do that), so it will look like the ramp never goes up/down. But you can try it and see how you like it.

@maceman: There aren't many dropwalls in this table, just the few dropwalls used in the gi. Actually there are tables with many more dropwalss and lights than this one. You may try to set the slider for the transparent ramps all to the left and see if it makes a difference..

I've noticed a strange behaviour on the top diverter.

On the real machine , this diverter is vertical ( solenoid on=diverter down ) so if you shoot at the ramp with medium speed , you can get "Secret Passage" ( just like secret ball lock on TOM or Rudy's hideout on FH ).

In this case , the diverter starts enabled , I don't know why , so the 2 first loops are wrongly scored as secret passage. Then the diverter starts working as normal , but there is no possibility of scoring secret passage anymore since the diverter blocks the wire ramps that goes down into the castle.

It is not an important feature of the game , just commented the detail because I fixed the real machine several times.

Amazing work , on the other hand , the Mist Ball looks more realistic with those little stops.
Please correct my English if it is necessary.

Any funny words or sentences you can teach me are welcome too !!!

This way I'll learn about pinball but English as well.

Aqui puedes ver el diverter tal como es , puedes observar que es un pirindolo que sube o baja la chapa , cuando está en reposo la bola pasa por debajo.

Here you can see the diverter as it is , you can check out it has a steel rod that pulls down the rail when activated. In rest position , the ball goes underneath that curved metal sheet

Beautiful recreation JP, stunning... spent a good hour on this last night and am hooked!! Saw this at the R3play event in the UK last year but never got chance to play it.

Just read through 'the thread' and can't believe the cheek of those shit bags to modify and sell your work. Anyway won't rant, just wanted to wish you a good break, and say a big thanks for all the lovely pinball treasure you've gifted us with over the past few months. Cheers!! bar2.gif

Update 1.02
- fixed the top diverter (I made a simple wall that goes up & down, not fancy but it does the job smile.gif )
- made more visible the coffin ramp (It is now like a transparent ramp, more visible but it doesn't move up & down of course, but I think it still gives the illusion of the ball going either on top or under, even if only the lower part of the ramp moves up & down)
- made the mist magnet faster (now it is difficult for me to hit that multiball smile.gif )

The transparent ramp cover is perfect! The game plays very close to the one I just gave back to the owner. I will miss it.
Speeding up the mist multiball so now it also closely matches the real table.
I don't know whats more impressive you building/graphics skills or your knack for table physics.

WELL DONE JP! otvclap.gif
