Not sure why some seem to be so down on you.
I haven't seen you do anything but contribute stuff to this pinball community.
I usually mind my own business, and am too busy working on these tables, so I am not sure who is at war in the forums or why, because I dont pay attention.

So I apologize if I am out of line.
I like ALL contributions to this community, and am thankful to ANYONE who contributes their personal time and work and shares it with this community.
I would just do what makes you happy. Plain and simple. As long as you are not stealing anyone elses work, do what makes YOU happy.
It is inevitable that there will be some in the community that won't be happy, no matter what you do.

For example..

Some people still make VP9 tables. There will be many who won't even download or try them out because it's not a VPX table.

These new VP9 tables aren't useless contributions, and many community members are still very thankful for them.

Somebody put alot of their own time and hard work to make them. While there will be many who appreciate the new VP9 tables, there will be some who wont be happy.
While they are entitled to their negative opinions, this pinball site was made for people to have fun and enjoy Virtual Pinball. 

To help and encourage others to share their personal work with everyone else.
You should feel welcome to share your personal work here, and helped with anything you need help with.

That is the true mission of this pinball site and this pinball community and this pinball hobby.

We help each other.
Don't let others deter you from what you are doing for this community, as I am sure you have a passion for what you do.

This is your special gift, and personal contribution that you share with all the rest of us in this community.

Ok enough of my ramblin.

xenonph That was really well said. I tried to upload some resources for a new Stern table yesterday and Noah Fentz said it was too early. I respect people's choices. I wanted to give you a like xenonph and jp but I ran out of likes. 

JP the table 32assassins gave me was for Visual Pinball 10.  I am now scripting the ball save and adding a timer.  Thanks JP for letting me mod this, in the scripts I wrote, Table Build by JPSalas. I will take my time and mod it good. 

 

 

Draifet Draifet I lowered the music on Swords of Fury by 10db but I use headphones, the game may sound different on PC speakers, or your cab. I dont play these on a cab but yes I agree that in (some of the games not all of them) the  ROM sounds have static.

he is a hack that halfasses tables together this is nothing new this is the dudes MO and has always been, he's been booted from most forums.... I know you like to stick up for the "underdogs" but your wasting your efforts with is one... go google tables like batman 66 or big lebowski and so on... all hacked together and posted, never meant for more than just batting the ball around... nothing more... 
dont be fooled by his kind words... this is a snake in the grass like no other... he thought he could just roll in and there would be enough "new" people that didnt know his hacky past....

Hack ? your icon reads hack   not mine. I have not been booted by any forum. 1 time the guy that runs GoPinball booted me because he is not capable of taking any advice, and has a God complex because he owns the forum. I simply wrote that a lantern would look good on his western themed game, and (happyCab) started to talk $hi*.. just like you right now. Then booted me because he doesn't speak very good English. I think hes Canadian or whatever. haunt - Your so damn cool    you think ////  Then you mention Batman and Big Lebowski but I don't see your versions on here. and you have not made any improvements on mine either. - and when so many good games get released by a team of 4 or 5 people.. I make mine all by my damn self most the time.. Go on.. $hit talker.. make me a Batman or a Big Lebowski, you big cry baby.

If you don't like them then go play Minecraft or Grand Theft Auto. Then you write never meant for more than just batting the ball around ... So then what do you consider your Pinball games ? Groundbreaking, amazing, More than just hitting a ball with a paddle.

why the F**k would I or anyone with common sense try to make a Batman 66 or lebowski table when there are NO proper resources or emulation support, christ man think before you speak!!

I built Mephisto because I was able to load the rom in PinMAME,  but the Cirsa.vbs file is still missing.

So who has a definite answer on the rom emulation for this table?

 

JP deserves the credit for the resources given that they are all his.

Hi 32assassin - not sure about the Cirsa.vbs but I have been adding scripts I am on line 1150 right now and have half the lights scripted and the top 3 bonus lights, all the sounds and really nice music for it. I like to script while I listen to online radio.

 

- Haunt it's not your hobby  and you don't own pinball, everyone gets to enjoy it.    it will take more than your temper tantrums to get rid of me. Now be a good boy and drink your milk so you can grow up big and strong. Also HauntFreaks if you are so talented then why are you not working at a professional game studio like EA, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Microsoft, Sony. Yes I have added both of you into the credits. Mephisto turned out much better than Swords of Fury.. I had trouble with the upper playfield lights on Swords and it gave me troubles. I will upload Mephisto when it has been tested more. and haunt if its not up to your quality standards then its free to Mod to your own liking. Instead of complaining you can fix it. "To your standards" even if you don't re post it. 

Next pinball table will be Original I was gone for a while but have saved up some ideas and resources from various projects. I don't have time to argue with haunt all day, I have scripting to do.

Is the code bug free?

  If you get any script errors please let me know. (and the line number)  If anyone has more sound effects from Swords of Fury let me know. 

 

 

Good news is I didn't get any code errors playing this. The downside is that's because the table doesn't do anything. It's like being trapped in some pinball penitentiary where you're stuck for infinity making shot, after shot, after shot, after shot and nothing ever happens except you score points for hitting things. Even draining doesn't matter because you have what seems to be an endless supply of balls. I didn't even have to hit start because you automatically get a ball sent to the plunger when the table opens.

 

Is this supposed to be taken as a WIP or are you presenting this as a finished product that plays the exact same as the ROM table?

well I have a layout for a new table (I will post the new table in the Visual Pinball WIP's when I am ready). I don't live only on pinball and have other things I do.

N3roflint - an endless supply of balls without paying 25¢ to play... that sounds great..  And no annoying wait time to play.. no questions or popups - yes that does sound like a real tough day.

N3roflint LOL no.. it cant compete with the rom version, I also have that version.  :hmm:but I find the rom version musics annoying and it sounds like a radio station that is too far away to get good reception      As you can tell I am not really a fan of ROM's unless they are for my MAME. You guy's act weird. Like someone is forcing you to download something. You do know there are multiple versions of games on here. VP8 VP9 VP10 FP. version 1.0, 2.0.. and so on.
