JP, one more glitch. The SPOTS insert is missing the "X" label.

Thanks! I missed that one.

I have a kicker model that can be animated I made for the xenon mod...   let me know if you want it for these tables

Yes, thanks! :) I usually use a simple image, since the vpx kicker used to be redrawn on top of almost anything :) I guess I could use a primitive from FP too :)

nah this is way nicer then the FP kicker.... I think the embedded VPX kicker is from FP (and 180 degrees out of phase)...

I'll send it over...

A little bug:

I had a ball stuck under the left upper flipper.

@Joey2001 This was addressed in the 1.01 update .. ref : http://www.vpforums....=38968&p=392233

Is it still a problem or did you forget to update the table ?

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Yes, it's right. I don't see the update. Too much tables, updates, media-packs and so on. :bye2: :dblthumb:

awsome table, thanks a lot. For those with a cab I recommend to turn the day night slider really low (0.5), the lighting is reallybeautiful in this one.

@Arngrim DOF works btw only with ROM skateblb not the one JP linked to...

Edit: strange in DOF config tool both ROMs are listed. For me only skateblb works, hmm.

Did you choose the other rom in the config page in the configtool and regenerate inis?

of course NOT :db:

So, this is meant to update your personal config for a special ROM? I always assumed it shows, which ROMs are generally used in DOF (that alias stuff).

Most of the times dof works with suffixes like afm for attack from mars work for all the afm_*** roms, but like skateball, you need to specify the exact rom, that's why the aliases are there

Hmm. I noticed something I'm sure some author can answer for me. This table plays great but from what I've just learned is that the ball lane-change section on the top should go from right to left, opposite of what is normal. You can see it best in this video at 06:00 mark. https://youtu.be/i4agXXNNRSs?t=5m50s

Bowen also mentions this here https://youtu.be/PZCo9rcyg4w?t=1m10s

I thought that something like this would be rom controlled ? Wondering what is needed to accomplish this change.

To change that you'll need to exchange the left and right light numbers and also the the left and right trigger lane numbers. Those tables don't used to include the light and trigger numbers in the manuals or the numbers simply didn't correspond to the vpinmame numbers. I simply took the values from destruk tables :) He maybe didn't realized that the lights moved the other way as how the rest of the tables used to do. I guess he discovered the trigger numbers and the lights numbers and simply added to his table so the logic worked as he thought was right :)

Another KILLER table conversion. Thanks JP... you're a genius!!!

I don't know if I'm a genius, but I have a lot of patience, hahaha. It took a lot of hours to redraw that playfield :)

Hello JP!

for your next update on this table... the ball when thrown by the pungler doesn't go the way it should, the ball always hits the tip of the top left flipper, at least for me ok...

Another thing is that I believe that the kiker's strength is a little high, throwing the ball too fast, it's almost impossible to hit with the upper right flipper.

in the image I changed the metals of the walls to my liking and also increased the size of the targets (flags) to x = 42

You can check this video. 6 minutes and 30 seconds into video, it shows how fast the ball is ejected from kicker.

It is not ejected slowly.

I agree that the plunger could be a little stronger and that I should change the angle og the lane. I'll do that on the next update :) I have a few small changes in the physics that I want to do too :)

UPDATE

4.0.1 Updated 25.05.2023
- fixed plunger strength and shooting angle
- update physics to my vpx7 Rev2 including the flipper's code by JLouLouLou.

So, it is just a small update, but since the plunger didn't work as it should so I had to make an update :)

Now I see the fonts on the desktop are not looking good anymore, so I tried to fix them, but I think they just got worst. So I tried with 10.8 to see how the fonts looked, and they were huge again. So I give up using fonts on the desktop, and in the next update I'll use reels :) I know that maybe is not vpx fault but Microsoft changing code in Windows. But I want to wait a little more until vpx10.8 is more solid and more people start using it. There are many new ways to do things that I want to check out, like flashers fading in sync with lights, that will make the "fading lights routine" almost obsolete. The only reason I still use it is because I can make several lights and flashers work as one. But now with 10.8 this could be done using lights and the flasher work in sync with the lights, and the core routines can handle several lights at the same time :)
