wow! Looks fantastic!! The flippers aren't working for me :( Anyone have an idea if I am missing something related to those fastflips? Running VPX 10.4 323

[update]

never mind I found the problem.. some of the vpx files were blocked after copying from my pc to my cab. unblocked them and was good to go :dblthumb:

You might need to move "    If KeyDownHandler(keycode) Then Exit Sub" to the bottom of the keydown and keyup subs

It's also possible to skip over the flipper-on callback if you're alt tabbed or lose focus on the window when it's called. Was thinking of adding some sort of check for that, working on a table right now so finishing that script up is on hold.

Changed the ball image and got a ball stuct.  Could not nudge it since I turned off my analog nudge (forgot I could have used the keyboard).  It just came to rest on the post.

Having a blast with the table.  So close in many ways to the original.  Not perfect, but I think we will get there

Got this too. Might need to use more control points for the new wire ramps to work properly. The mesh is kind of a horrorshow: rbncy.png

The inlanes, Wall 449 and 274 have a friction of 0 which is definitely going to contribute to unnatural spin.  Probably need .25 or .3.  Also Gate5 has a friction of 0 and if the ball glances off of it it can contribute to weird spin at other points on the table usually near flippers.  A lot of the walls have a friction of .02 while other walls have a fiction of .2 so I don't know whether that is intentional but I changed all on mine to .2 and all seems to be playing really well.

This is a great table and I'm really enjoying it.  Some interesting flipper setting also!

Agree so many 0 or 0,02 friction walls. Inlanes walls low friction make unnatural ball spin on many tables. The table ofcourse looks great! :)

I think VPX needs a friction test to show a list of items that have poor values

Fixed all bad physics values, nFozzy gave me some flippers and physics settings advice, game has changed - uploading v1.01 with improved physics.

Thanks for feedback guys.

I'm out of thanks for today. So: THANKS!

I changed all settings, which were posted in this thread and the table works fantastic.

.02 is much better. Thank you!

Edit--after playing several more games, its seems there is a problem with the ball flying off the ramp in the turbo. Ball goes away and cannot be retrieved

I have not had that happen in about 4 full games played.  You are using a recent VPX beta?  Not sure if that makes a difference but I'm playing in exlusive fullscreen mode

I have played several games where it did not happen, but then I played like 3 in a row where it did. It might have something to do with the velocity of the shot--don't know. I am using a very recent  VPX beta and play in windowed FS

Uploading fixed 1.03 version, imperfection of invisible ramps and walls around diverter causes ball stuck probably, like always we need some time and testing to make the table better :)

Thanks.

thanks for the update, muuuuch better now!

And thanks for changing the ball image

For some reason my Supercharger flashers don't light up. I'm on X.4 rev 3237. Should I update VPM, too? I think now 2.8 something...

And: after numerous games I also once had the ball lost in supercharger. Happened after entering at the position, where the diverter is. Maybe at the moment it switched?

Again: fantastic table you all gifted us here

Edit: lol ok I'll try 1.03 Edit2: when approved

Table is build with 3167rev (older) and i'm using 2.8 pinmame(same as yours). No idea why it's not working for you, i'll try recent vpx build and try to fix this.

awesome, GF.  Much improved physics.  I can turn on my analog nudge and works great now.  Thanks.  I knew something was off in the physics

Did the supercharger change at all.  I thought the ball should go around faster before, but now I think it is exactly like my machine.  Just played real, very fun and very similar to this table.  Ultimate complement!!!

Superb release ganjamon! V1.03 plays really well, fast and furious as it should. Thank you!!!

Here is a slightly altered fullscreen POV for anyone wanting to see all of that gorgeous supercharger, maintaining decent depth but minimizing the pincushion effect.

That does look great!  Question: what the heck is the "pincushion effect", first time I hear that term!

I'm still using 10.3 final, so I had to comment out all the UpdateGI lines and alter the table lighting settings a bit. I also changed some of the physics, but I usually do that just to get a feel and speed I like. I am seeing occasional glitching with ball physics, but nothing serious. This seems great and I've already doubled my top high score from VP9. Excellent work!
