If you have the skills, you can go into the sound manager, export the flipper sounds, put them into a sound tool (audacity?) and up the volume. Or you can export the sounds from another table and use "reimport from" button to overwrite the sounds used in this table. Another option is (not confirmed with this table) .. look for Sub Vol, and put something like +5 into the function. This will up the volume on all non-music sound effects.

Thanks for the tips! I ended up just " normalizing" the mp3 files to a lower volume. Now i can hear my flippers and tallica just fine! Thanks for this great release hauntfreaks

I am trying to add some mp3's to the play list. But having trouble playing the new files. I can see in the debug windows that the correct mp3 is selected, but no sound. What are the mp3 specifications ? Max lenght ? Bitrate ?

Only mp3 specs I'm aware of is that they must not have metadata in them. If there is info in the iD3 tag, VP cannot play them. You would have to use an iD3 tag remover software to clean the mp3 for use.

Briekers,

How did you do this "normalizing" of the volume?  I love this table but can *barely* hear flippers and bumper noises over the music.

open the table in the editor.... look to your right you will see the table options menu

down the list of stuff will be "table music volume" it will be set to 100... lower the value until you like the balance....

also check the box for overwrite the global settings
this will only effect this table.... so no worries of messing up any of the others

I normalized the mp3 files to a certain volume. The above setting in VPInball is better of course. I searched for this but could not find the per table setting. Thx !

In your Visual Pinball Folder...Mine is located here..

C:/Program Files/Visual Pinball/Music

It's where your roms and tables folders are. If there isn't one, just make new folder and name it "music". Place mp3's in it.

Good info about the ID3 tags needing to be removed for mp3 to work with VP!!!!

Was working with alot of sounds to try with Seahawks Table that weren't working in VP!!!

Thanks Trinity!!!

Hi

I hadn't played this table for months, and now  I can't hear any music (mp3), just table sounds

Has anyone the same problem ?

I use VP992 / VPinMAME 2.6 / Windows 10
