Hi all,

King of Diamonds is back, with some mods, sounds included.

Read the note in the download page.

Shadow, you can play now without the high-score, as promised.

sorry, i'm not a fan of some post-it or paper bands, in the late sixties, when i was a bit more than a kid, we used to write with a pencil on the backglass...

Anyway, i'll put the same trick in my future tables.

Be careful with the backbang, it uses the slam tilt function key.

For my cab i have programmed the slam tilt key as "Home" (Keycode 199), you can change the keycode with the one matching your system in the script at line 513 (if keycode = 199 then...).

Have fun

Thank you Fratazzo. Sadly, I too, remember high scores being hand written on a cardboard sign and hanging from the top of the backglass, Seems like yesterday though:)

Everybody did high scores differently. I myself would unplug the machine and let the reels be the marvel of my magnificence.

Do it the way you want Fratazzo, it's great

Thanx to all!

I'm going maybe OT, hope you'll excuse me!

I'm 58 just today, can't remember how many pinballs came under my hands until now...

My true love are older EM's, loud, roughs, away from technology, really sincere, bells and noisy contacts everywhere, in a word, i'm a true nostalgic.

Remember the peculiar smell of the wood, of the bare metal, of the contactors that did have these machines, seems to be yesterday.

I was a kid, it was forbidden for the kids to play pins, but... occasionally it could happen

And in my recreations i put all that is in my memory, or i try to do that.

Next week a rare beast, Rocket III...

Graphics come from the FP version, with very small tweaks...

Next time, ask for the permission to use my graphics. FP is not a self service (VP too).

Hi Popotte,

Sorry, I did not want to steal anything.

I do not think I have done a lot of self-service, all the code is original, I found the FP table on irpinball and I didn't think of doing evil.

If you don't agree, i'll see to change the graphics with something else...

Don't change anything, but, next time, just ask the permission to use some material and put somewhere on your release post and/or in the table info "Thanks to xxx for the use of yyy". And not specially for me. It's just the normal way to go.

That nice to hear Popotte, that you might allow some of your gorgeous EM redraws into VP with permission and a credit of course. Frtazzo has done a couple of great EMs very good justice in VP would love to see some more from him.

Is there a version of this table out there that has been modified for DOF by any chance?

The version I just loaded onto my cab is 1.2.  DOF isn't working for me but re-reading the comments it does seem like it's there.  Is there anything special I have to edit in the script to get it working?

EDIT: Nevermind I got it to work.  I haven't done a lot with EMs yet and didn't realize that the name of the DOF 'ROM' didn't match Controller.B2SName in the table script.  The DOF config is great as always!
