Thanks -

I also think it plays quite nice.

I don't know how it supposed to look but it was pretty dark on my monitor in DT & FS modes so I lightened it up a bit. But the left rail does not display. I don't know a lot about changing things but did look at the table in the Editor. It does show the left & right rails and they both appear to have the same height settings, etc. What am I overlooking?

Brer Frog, you just have to change both side rails Material from Metal0.8 to Metal0.2

batch -

Thank you for the backdrop.

If I don't use the backdrop all of the background is black & this in turn makes it look like the cabinet has black sides. However when using the backdrop, it appears that the cabinet has no sides, as shown in my picture.

I have 16:10 ratio monitor and the "empty" sides are displayed whether I use the default DT settings of your settings. The gap is just larger when using the default settings.

Looking at the table in the Editor it looks like there are no cabinet sides. Is this correct?

That's right, the cabinet has no sides, so, unfortunately, you have to use my DT settings if you don't wanna see them "empty"

I just did a backdrop with a "black area" according to my DT settings, but you can import cabinet sides from another table (it should be a primitive)

I understand. Just for reference this picture is with your DT settings. I guess my 16:10 monitor must be throwing things off quite a bit.

Sorry, settings are for a 16:9 monitor

Perhaps you can add ramps using my following template (you'll have to save it as a VPX file)

http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11212

Or copy a siderails primitive from another VPX table

tinker with y scale until it lines up

if you open vp and go to tools and go to camera mode you can move back and forth to the different scale adjustments so you can resize it

I can adjust the width & make it narrower, but it looks too narrow on the 16:10 monitor.

I've had similar issues even when there were sides & the backdrop had a black center section. If the inclination or FOV is changed too much the black shows up outside of the rails. Usually making the table wider does not cause a problem, unless the top is made too narrow.

I'm going to try using batch's template in VPX as suggested & see what I can come up with. I consider this a learning opportunity.

Fren, this table is great!  I don't know what it would take to get it up to your standards to release it, but with a few tweaks as described above it sure exceeds the standards for my cab!
