As far as anyone complaining that this is not like a real table ... please please don't make those few people discourage any table builder from doing mods like this and the others that are already out there.
First off they are MODS people, if you want original tables then don't download the mods.
Secondly is that this is virtual pinball that are made to run on a PC .... again not a real table.
I just don't like to see comments like this as it is kind of negative (or it comes across that way in written form) to me.
Please keep up the awesome work and THANK YOU very much.

Where are you seeing anyone complain that this is not like a real table?  I think you must be on the wrong forum or something.  If you were referring to my post I was simply pointing out that it doesn't actually appear to be showing up in true full screen in the hopes there was a fix (and there is, thankfully).

I would say please please don't try to inject drama when there is none, because none of the posts by anyone prior to yours has said anything negative about the table design.

Yes that was my bad I meant to post this on the CV mod post and did there also because it seems to come up frequently. I am sorry you took it to the extreme that you did as I did not name or quote you at all and it is not directed at any one person.

Where is the drama or negativity? I am confused about your last paragraph. Peace

Well, let's see.  There's a thread about a new table.  People respond to said thread along the lines of "wow, great table, keep up the good work", or "hey this table looks great but I'm having some issues getting it to work", then along you come with a post imploring people not to be so negative and not to knock a table that is a mod, something no one had done, and adding nothing of import to the conversation.

That seems like drama to me (along the line of "look at me, defender of the table designer who really didn't need defending because no one was criticizing his work"), but I'm going to let the matter drop at this point because it's just distracting from the author's great effort at adding something to the original table.

Anyway, the fix Loaded Weapon posted in the Medieval Madness thread worked like a champ, got it displaying in full screen and really like the new lighting effects, they really make this and MM pop, looking forward to seeing more like it now that I know how to get the display working properly.

Just a small update folks which you can do rather than me uploading the files again for a one line change.

There is a small bug with GI that prevents it from operating as it should.

Open the table in the editor and find the following line around line 686

If step = 0 OR step = 7 then exit sub

and change it to

If step = 7 then exit sub

Save the file before quitting the editor.

This will make the GI operate like the original designers intended.

Dozer.

Hi Dozer,

Incredible work on this, very impressed.  As you have asked for opinions on this in another thread, I'll throw my hat into the "I find the RGB lights a little too bright" camp but that's really a personal preference, not a knock on your mod.  I just find the light should not become all whitish and the dome should still be somewhat visible.  As it is, its fantastic and I think it's found a permanent home on my hard drive whether or not these are adjusted.

Well done on all these releases!

Hey there, thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you like them.

Further releases will have a script option to turn the flasher brightness down and the glass textures on or off so if they're burning your eyes you'll be able to adjust them :)

What ghosting?

What ghosting?

He sees similar issues that I got with the DX7 build, with the ball leaving behind a trail.    But turning on RO and turning off RU doesn't seem to be working for him.

DreamTrap - try the DirectX 9 VP build that LoadedWeapon linked to above.   This mod works very well with DX9.

Ah yeah, that issue is usually caused by RO and RU.    I agree, use DX9 test 9a.

yeah

Then just use the vpexetables.txt feature of Hyperpin and use the DX9 version for tables that it works well for.
