Fixed.

For hyperpin to launch the backglass, the table and B2S backglass need to have _B2S on the end so something like this:

Centigrade37_B2S.vpt

Centigrade37_B2S.exe

Never realized all the other tables I have end in _B2S.

The *.vpt does not have to at least on my cab.  I rename then with the  "Table name (Manufacturer year).vpt" and they all work fine.

Yep, just checked it.  works just fine with HP & FpLaunch.

Gridiron named "Gridiron (Gottlieb 1977).vpt"   EXE named "Gridiron_B2S.exe"

My son and I played this game last night.

It is spectacular. Quite a show piece.

Even if I have no idea what a "Flankerback" is. :)

Add this subroutine and the B2S will exit with the table

sub PinuckEM_Exit
     Dim WshShell
     Set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
     WshShell.Run "taskkill /F /IM ""Gridiron_B2S.exe""",0,true
end sub

I discovered that code in a post for editing Rosie's tables and I found that it works for all of thes B2S style tables so long as you use the name in front of the _init subroutine as the table name and the name of the B2S file in the.exe statement. There are a lot of great vp9 tables that use this style of code and all of them seem to behave the same way.

I see in the online DOF config tool that there is a config file for this table but I don't see a DOF version of the table. The config header says "942 Gridiron DOF 1.0 Use E version". Any idea where these tables exist? I posted a question about the edequitte of DOFing tables to see if I can edit these tables because it looks like the authors are no longer active here to give approval...

Beautiful Table.  There is a live example at Silverball Museum near my home and it plays amazing.  Any Pinuck table has a revered spot on my cab as I know that it's going to be amazing.

Pinuck’s stuff is top notch. And there’s a VPX version over at one of the other sites.

Sorry, guys. I spoke too soon. I just checked: The Gridiron over at another site is still VP9, but with DOF upgrade. My mistake.

If someone has high quality artwork for the table, I'd be willing to author a VPX version.

Don't really understand ... what is wrong with the PF ?

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I think that it's because the lighting effect is on the playfield itself, and it's all the same for the plastics

pfgridiron.jpg

Scottacus, perhaps you can ask to Pinuk if he has the original, without the lights
