Strange thing happened which was uvp was perfect on first plays in vp but now when launched from hyperspin, the scores are below where the static image expects and the credits and match are gone or off the bottom. Close encounters is perfect but some other uvps also are misaligned for scores. Any ideas to correct?

Thx.

Did you download the latest hyperpin media pack? It sounds like the BG image you have in your BG directory in HP is an older one where the image is not lined up to this newer UVP. I replaced mine with this new pack and it works great!

Cheers,
Maceman

Thanks for the link Maceman! i built a cabinet and installed 200 tables without posting a single question for help so I guess I thought I was above rookie mistakes. The problem was two fold - one that I pressed "u" to capture the back glass showing how great the uvp was working and then that screwed things up. Then when I tried to fix it, I ran into the problem that a previous version of the table had an apostrophe in the media file names and the current one did not.

Warning to folks that pressing 'u' on UVP tables to capture the backglass can cause problems on the next play of the table.

Cheers,
Michael

This brings back good memories - and another incredibly accurate reproduction. The sound affects are a nice touch. The familiar music when the ball drains even made my wife walk over to the cabinet to take a look. For a moment there I thought she was going to play a game..... it was close.

Many thanks Pinuck - you really have nailed another classic from this era.

Ps: To get the flyer images to display I needed to remove the apostrophe.

Updated to 1.1
Fixed gate color (thanks Kiwi)
Added missing nails and a rail, a few layout adjustments, some physics tweaks (thanks Unca)

@Serpiko: not sure what you were fixing/changing in the script there?

also updated the media pack, to fix naming issues.

and to the requests for desktop - I'm sorry to say, i have no plans for making desktop tables at this point in time.
If someone does a nice WS mod of it though, i will take a look...

PlaySound "Plunger" is not enabled in the script, right?

Absolutely love your work, Pinuck!!!  All the Gottlieb EMs rule...HH, ED,DaC,V.   I dont use a frontend, my 47" vizio playfield swivels 90 degrees and tills back 15 degrees so I play sitting down and use it as a TV as well with a Xarcade tankstick.

I have a 19 in monitor for b2s tables or just play FS with dmd on 47" vizio.

PROBLEM:Cant get this table to load

I get an activex component cant create object

then I get a vpm version 01500000 required

I can't seem to find gts1 vbs 3.10 download that said is required

Script error, object required....line 65 controller?

I will try to post screenshots that are visible under upload limitations

I havent had any issues with loading tables.  Occasionally I have to mess with HR off with more intensive dmd/ newer real tables vs. EMs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!! thanks

I posted a SS of my Video Settings.   And not sure what to do with Controller in script? can run one or two monitors

Open the script and go to line 32 , remove the apostrophe and add the apostrophe in front of the line 33 .

Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")
'Set Controller = CreateObject("UltraVP.BackglassServs")

Thanks so much Max!!!!!! :otvclap:

That did the trick, what an awesome playing table.!!!  The sounds are wonderful with the action, unfortunately it doesnt show the score which I think would be a dmd.  Would you need ultrapin software loaded to see the dmd only or backglass or is there some tip/trick in the script to have the score/dmd listed on the playfield or second monitor? Sorry for so many newb questions!

Again Thanks So Much for the help Kiwi/Max!!!

Search for ".Hidden = 1" in VP script code and change it to ".Hidden = 0".

Sabbat didn't complain, demand, or give an opinion.  No need to create drama where there isn't any.  But when there is a new angle independent table released, & people don't see a desktop version, people are gonna wonder why or if one is coming.  Not saying you have to do anything about it either.  However you probably shouldn't get irritated just by somebody asking about a desktop version.  Comes with the territory & isn't the 1st or last time it happens.

Not saying you have to do anything... However you probably shouldn't...

uhh before more of that takes over this thread too, let me refer to my Abracadabra release thread for example:

Sabbat: How long until WS?
Pinuck: No immediate plans for other versions.  Need to fix bugs on Line Drive first.
Sabbat: weak

that's exactly what i'm talking about. Plus I'd already answered the question in this thread already.
