Hi DB,

Are you playing with hardware rendering checked in the options?

Maceman

No Hardware Rendering. If I turn that on, the tables get really messed up.

Ok, so yes, that is unfortunately your problem. This particular table uses an alpha ramp for the playfield glass, and the ramps around the flippers are also alpha ramps which require the hardware rendering.
Even on my old laptop with a 64 bit video card, I need to turn hardware rendering off, and then flippers do that, there is no work around unless you delete the ramps with the image on them around the flippers and just leave the plain flippers with hardware rendering off. This is a workaround until you have a better system that will handle hardware rendering, which most tables require for best rendering and utilization of VP9.

cheers,
Maceman

Thanks for the tech advice. I think I'm going to try your workaround so I can enjoy this cool table.

Thanx! I should mention as well that you could also click on each ramp and make them invisible...and that will do the same thing.

I can't get this to play. I have tried loading the table in both 903 & 907 and VP just crashes. Does not even load the table into the editor... I have this table but the flippers are screwed up so I am going to gut it and turn the cabinet into a vp table as it is a great size for my kids who have a problem reaching my full size pins.

Incidentally same problem with FS table. otvwimper.gif

Any ideas how to get this to work?

Run the table using VP 9.12.

Used standalone 9.12 and it works thanks!

Any idea why there are 4 flipper images on either side? Makes using the flippers tough...

If you look a few posts up in this thread, the author says to make sure you have Hardware Rendering on. To do this, in the VP editor menu bar select Preferences->Video Options. You should see a checkbox for Hardware Rendering. If it is not checked, then check it. Then click OK, then close VP, then reopen VP, reload the table in the editor, and then press play. See if that works for you.
