Current state of affairs with relation to the donations? Louizou, did you make any new progress which may be interesting?

I was not at home for 3 days , so no real advancement.

I still work on animations , as the simple ones work , but not the complex ones.

You must be patient.....

I'm patient Since I'm a software designer myself I know how time consuming the development can be. I was just interested in the fact whether or not you can keep developing without having access to the Pro version of Unity yet. Good luck with the animations for now

I don't know why, maybe because the main responsible people for the account are the people on this forum. I don't think they know how much money has been collected yet, since I guess the owner of the account is Destruk. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Can't think of anyone else I would trust more to hold the moneypot, and you had the initiative and took the time and effort to setup the Paypal account which is appreciated by all here I am sure.

It is a shame if the donation details have been removed fom GoPinball - this could be an opportunity to let bygones be bygones. After all we all love the game, lifes too short, and all that.... Here's hoping it gets added back.

You cant change crazy, i doubt that link will ever be put up at gopinball with destruk involved, but really does it matter. there loss

...why am I not surprised? oh yeah! /facepalm we're talking about the people behind the curtain at gopinball... the manipulators that say one thing, and do something else... lets STOP depending on gopinball, and DO something positive & better for virtual pinball. NOW.

I recently read the gopinball thread, but the whole link seems gone now...there is only one link with like 4 posts, and before there were at least 3 or 4 pages.... weird.
What i had read was some sensitivity over copyright...but my understanding is the people complaining really didn't understand what LouisLouee was doing with this....so i wasn't surprised that the support would end. I still think many there support it however.

Just wanted to say i support the efforts guys. I think anything to push this forward is positive! I wish at this stage i could help, but i won't go into detail about just how bad things are right now... 1700 tax bill just came in to boot and i am sour..... so i wanted to at least pass along my moral support, not that is worth much when coinage is mostly needed, but hey

Destruk, I think everyone here trusts you enough to hold onto the piggy, so i think just give this time and it will fly, and perhaps we will see support come in from others as well!!

Oh I doubt it has anything to do with me - would they really hold a grudge against a single individual for over 6 years?
I think it has more to do with their views on using roms and their fear of change.
If this is successful, everyone will be using Future Pinball, which is what I thought they wanted? I don't know anymore.

No, there are 5 pages at gopinball in the FP Addons subforum.

Page 4 of the thread is the page where the concerns appear and where the removal of the donations link is mentioned. Pretty much a rerun of what people were originally concerned about with regards to using ROMs in VPinMame for Visual Pinball.

But as we can't post links to them at this forum, then are there still grudges?
