tell me what you don't understand? the file is downloadable on the right panel of the home page once you are logged

Added the DOF Config ini pull program made by Zarquon, that you can execute at the start of your Windows session of your cab, or your frontend. If your cab is connected to the internet, you can use the program and you won't need to generate files from the configtool site, it will be automaticThe parameters you will need to adjust for your environment are :SET LCP_APIKEY = Your_API_KeY that you can find on configtool.vpuniverse.com/account.php

myself I use DOF R3+ from http://www.mjrnet.or...jr-20161019.zip

as I have a pinscape controller (KL25Z)

My dof config ini files are very recent (a week old at most)

and still: no feedback from the flipper solenoids, all other feedback is working (slingshots, bumbers...)

Anyone? Any help?

i looked at your generated ini from configtool and it seems fine, but to be sure, generate a dof log and check if you have errors

i looked at the table script, last version and i don't see anything wrong there either, so look at the dof logs

Hello arngrim,

thanks for the input, however I cannot generate a dof logfile. Even though I have <EnableLogging>true</EnableLogging>

in my globalconfig file, the log is only created when I run the directoutput test, not when I run VPX.

However I noticed something yesterday: the flipper buttons do not fire the flipper solenoids, but they activate the LEDs for my start button and launch button instead, I therefore checked the other feedback. The slingshots activate the flipper solenoids. It seems as if the port numbers have moved by 2 ports up (port 14 becomes 12, port 15 becomes 13 etc.).

Can you help me generate a logfile during gameplay? Or do you have any idea about the "moved ports", I have a similar problem with "moved ports" with TWD LE and Star Trek LE?

many thanks

best regards

can you show the full globalconfigfile, check that the location tag is correct?

i can generate ini files for your profile, i put the ini8 in excel, split the lines to different columns with comma and the flipper solenoid are in the right column for twd or ghostbusters, so the ini is not the problem, try to post your issue in the pinscape thread, seems related to that

thanks, but I still cannot get a logfile when running VPX.

btw. regarding TWD LE and Star Trek LE. I did the same as you suggested (Excel file out of ini8 with comma as separator) and both entries (twd_156h and st_161h) show the wrong contactors in the columns, seems to be related to RGB entries which are separated by comma in these lines. For example:

twd_156h S5|S6|S7 I6/S8 m600 I6/S51 600 I6/W2|W3|W4 600 I6/W49 600 I6 L109 nobool L114 nobool L149/L109 nobool

but you are right, the JP ghostbusters line shows the correct contactor in the "flipper solenoid" column.

I did not know there was a pinscape thread here. Do you have the link, as the search function does not show any thread...

ok, your problem for twd, stle, and surely also tron, acdc le is there is a very special configtool mapping for the rgb undercab and rgb undercab complex which is not compatible with combos, the one that is dynamically changing the rgb color of our undercab ledstrips

i had a look at your combos and the combo2, with rgb undercab and undercab complex doesn't make sense and is creating your flipper problem, and probably other problems, so remove your combo2 and map directly rgb undercab or rgb undercab complex, and it will work much better ;)

OK, I tried it and all Stern tables are now working perfectly with matching DOF contactors, thanks for that, however still no luck for Ghostbusters. still switched contactors (instead of flipper solenoids my launch ball and start game lamps are switched), I'll keep looking...

1.2.1 has a frame rate problem with adaptive VSync "2" have the same issue on both Pokémon and Ghostbusters 1.2.1. going back to 1.2.0 and it's fine rock solid 60fps.

1.2.1 frame rate jumps all over the place 300fps one second then 50fps the next. Really broken for me, but previous version is fine

Double checked and all the setting are exactly the same.

You don't by any chance have downloaded a newer vpinballx.exe somewhere ? I see you also visit the other site, and running a beta version of this file was the main culprit for me experiencing exactly what you describe here.

I was using the beta of 10.21, but am now running 10.21 final. I have updated all the scripts that came with 10.21final, but am still getting this issue. Not sure what has changed between v1.2.0 and v1.2.1 that is causing the issue? DOF or UltraDMD script changes? (I don't use DOF) I am getting the same issue with the latest version of a couple of JP's other tables (Mortal Kombat 2 etc) I am just running the slightly older version on my cab for the time being, but there is something in the latest versions causing a problem that wasn't there before.

I figured a video of the issue would make it much clearer to see what I am talking about. I don't have an issue with any other tables on my set-up. The video shows both versions running with exactly the same settings. v1.2.0 rock solid 60fps, v1.2.1 fps jumping up and down.

I posted this on the JP Ghostbuster thread on VPF, but thought someone hear may know the answer. V1.2.0 of JP tables run perfectly, but there is an issue with v1.2.1 Not sure what has changed between v1.2.0 and v1.2.1 that is causing the issue? DOF or UltraDMD script changes? (I don't use DOF) Using adaptive Vsync (Option 2) v1.2.0 is rock solid 60fps, v1.2.1 fps jumping up and down.I am getting the same issue with the latest version of a couple of JP's other tables (Mortal Kombat 2 etc) I am just running the slightly older version on my cab for the time being, but there is something in the latest versions causing a problem that wasn't there before.

Hope this helps solve the problem.

I checked the CPU usage and with v1.2.1 it is maxing out (100%). With v1.2.0 cpu usage is fine. Gameplay with v1.2.1 is choppy even without vsync.

no idea hellfire, but the fact you can't have dof logs is already not normal, try the latest dof from djrobx here?

Great table JP. The problem I have is that reels do not rotate so not only are they on the Slimer playfield but they line the left hand side

of the screen. I have my display driver doing the rotation so all of my FS tables have rotation of zero. The problem with this configuration are

tables like this with reels that there is seemingly no way to rotate them 90 degrees to work with my setup. The only way to fix it would be to

set my driver to landscape and resize every table. Not appealing for the 3 or 4 tables that I have the problem with. Also messes with the high

score post it notes that use reels.

I have included two set of reels for the table, one for desktop use, and one for FS use. I don't you how it is your setup or wha you see. Maybe you could take a screenshot or a picture of how your reels look like, since maybe there is an easy fix.

You can change, in the script, which reel is shown. Because you're doing things in a way that no one else does and no one else scripts tables for, you're going to need to get comfortable modifying scripts to get your tables to display properly.

In this table, JP has two reels showing the score display, one for desktop layout and one for portrait layout. Desktop one is normally at the top left of the screen in desktop mode, fullscreen portrait sits at the top of the playfield when you're viewing the table in portrait mode.Because you set your rotation to 0 instead of 270 for your FS table, the score for full screen will now show up - as you noticed - on the left hand side of the table. The solution is to open the script and find where he references each set of score displays (EMReel) and disable the portrait one and enable the desktop, then you'll need to move the desktop score display to a position that suits you.... It's not really too difficult if you give it a shot, look in the script for "ShowDT" and study what it says after that ie. if showdt = false then emreel.visible = true kind of script

They could make someone who knows a full B2S with DMD inclusive so that he does not have problems, or they do not have to use UltraDMD if not a Cabinet of 2 screens ...

JP, due to my set up I have to have the table rotated at 90 instead of 270 which then has your dmd upside-down.

Is there a way to rotate the reels 180 degrees?

There is no easy way to do it. To do that you'll need to rotate the images and maybe change the positions in the different frames. And the reels will need to be rotated too.

Gruntis, maybe you Change your Screen Orientation over Windows Settings ?
Then you could let it on Standard "270" at all Tables ...
