Based on the table Sound Stage by Chicago Coin from 1976.
 
This is a VPX8 table
 
Table and directb2s by me and enhanced by Mustang1961
The backdrop for the directb2s was made by Wildman in 2005. 
 
Notes: a direct hit to the spinner targets may spin the spinner 6 ó 7 times, but an indirect hit will spin much less, depending of the hits strength.

I was getting some pretty long plays. I'd recommend making the cheater peg togglable. I haven't played this one IRL, but many of the pictures I've seen online don't include a cheater peg. I'm not much for scripting, but I added this code to line 114...

	'Cheater Post (Mark all three values 1 for on and 0 for off
	primitive103.visible = 0
	rpin001.visible = 0 
	rpin001.collidable = 0
	'Also mark rubber020 visible/not in the playfield editor

Yes, that can be done, or simply remove it if you don't want it

Dear JP,

 

thank you for this sweet innocent EM. The games plays perfectly! Please correct one flaw, the spinner counts always 1,000 pts. Normal is 100 pts, only when C & D are lit the count is 10 times more.

As far as I can tell, the spinner scores 100 pts per spin. Hitting the spin target directly should get you 6-7 spins, while an indirect hit will get you much less.

 

I just tested this (albeit with modded physics) and with a fairly direct hit I got 600 points (so I assume 6 spins).

 

Edit: Ah, it wasn't saving between games. Nice catch, Christian. Well, time to reset my High Scores.

- Fixed spinner value not resetting on a new ball/player.

- enhanced version of the directb2s my Mustang1961

- made the pin between flippers optional in the script.

- fixed the 3 ball script error

The table was made for VPX8. You need to update VPX.

So, as JP has been faster than me, when you've upgraded to VPX8, press the F12 Key and then use the SHIFT Key until you see this page, then use the CTRL Key until you highlight this line.

 

Then press the SHIFT Key to change 5 balls to 3 balls.

Since I'm still using VPX7, I've now downloaded Sound Stage version 1.0.1 and I'm getting 5 balls.

The table plays really great!
