Glad the physics seem better.
I will focus on the LEDWIZ issue tonight. I'm sorry it still doesn't work think.gif

Don't be sorry ma friend. You've already presented an awesome table !
You'll work it out eventually.

..I am not sure this error is just with the ledwiz....

I played this last night non stop, and in one particular game, after about 5 minutes or so, out of the blue, i had a vbscript error. It was a null error which was weird as that is usually an error i see with B2S tables, when i don't have it set up correctly....(this was via hyperpin btw)

Anyways, I don't have an ledwiz, but i am using the ipac2.....

I will try the update first before trying to dig into this one further, as perhaps it will be gone anyways...

Cheers.

Hi maceman !!!

I use Ipac2 and no problem... but I no test with hyperpin and uvp...

Agreed. This table is awesome.

I simply play without the force feedback right now.

Thanx ced. I have a feeling it maybe an hp thing. I am using a static BG however in order to get the maximum butter smoothness.... but i do not know what caused the error. Played again just now for a bit, new version, with no issues,so my fingers are crossed.

Just tested it, and still the same problem sad.gif No gun animation, and error on line 1729.

Btw, good thing you pointed out the download link, never would've found it otherwise wink.gif

/Baco

Edit: 2 things I noticed while trying: Nothing happens when pressing launch when the ball is in the cannon. That might be part of the script though, to prevent shooting the ball straight up. Also, it crashes before the solenoid actually fires, but the gear motor is running like it should.

Another thing. I thought it might work to just remove the cannon shooter from the Ledcontrol.ini file, but that didn't work either. In fact, as long as there even is a line for T2, even if it's all zeroes, it'll still crash (which seems quite weird).

Do you have the issue with the others verison of T2?
Could you try the UW/Noah 4/3 table on your cab to see if the same thing happens? (just a test)

Thanks!

I've been playing this game a lot - your chrome is very cool. I do notice that the gun cannon moves a little too fast. I end up needing to 'shoot the cannon" slightly before where it should be to make the lit targets.
It is probably off by 3 or 4 frames. The ball goes where I want it, just the angle the ball is shot out doesn't match the angle the gun is pointing, so it looks strange.

Build a fire, vipers love the heat.

If you watch videos on youtube, you will see that there are so many different speeds for the gun.
I based mine on this one:
http://www.youtube.c...feature=related
You get the Super Jackpot more or less at the same moment (same light)

Here is an example of a super fast gun (1:00):
http://www.youtube.c...feature=related

A slow one:

About the angle, I did it visually and I thought it was good ^^. But if it's not I have to change it! Also, since it's very tricky to do, I just want to make sure that severals persons think the same thing... Does anybody else has the same feeling?

I tried this one: Terminator 2: Judgment Day VP9 v1.1RC by UncleReamus and Noah Fentz, and it works like it should. Cannon moves, and no crash when it autofires. It also worked to fire with the launch button.

Heh, was somewhat of a challenge to play it sideways. Even though I've gotten better, I have some problems hitting it on a table facing the correct way. Took a couple of games wink.gif

Edit: I'm useless at aiming with that gun, so I have no input there wink.gif

I agree with Destruk that you have to aim slightly above the target (as the gun is traveling down) to hit it. However I wasn't sure if gravity would have any effect on the ball to curve it toward the target.

On another note, I was surprised to see (on the video you based your gun-speed on) how slow that table plays in general. Not the gun, but the overall play.

EDIT: In watching it again, I think it might have to do with weak flippers.

I don't like FS versions. But I had to surrender myself in this case. smile.gif

This is the FIRST and ONLY table that shows the sense of depth. Congratulations!!! Really Great job!!! All FS tables should be done this way.

I Just didn't like the physics. The speed of the ball is ok, but It's very easy to play and few bounciness. Sorry! smile.gif

But anyway, It's a GREAT-AWESOME JOB!!! dblthumb.gif

Thank you very much!! smile.gif

Big Thanks to my friend Hassanchop for this very nice dmd.

The gun had the same issue in the other version of T2. It never did line up with the DMD animation and you always had to eyeball it from the table and shoot above it.

As for the physics, honestly I do not think they are bad as everyone is making them out to be.

The first physics were based on all the videos on youtube and the Gear323 and BFG_Brutal's comments who know very well the real table.
The new physics work well for me so it's not a problem wink.gif
Like for the cannon, depending on the video, sometimes the physics are fast and sometimes slow, so it's hard to know what is the "correct" speed. Also, on the videos, sometimes the table is very bouncy, more than what I did.

I'm not sure to understand (because my english)... So the others versions of T2 had the same issue but didn't crash the table?

This is a tricky bug, it's not easy to fix something you can't reproduce. crazy.gif

You could try buying one of these desk monitor stands(assuming you have an LCD monitor of course) http://www.ergotron....CA/Default.aspx that link is for the MX desk arm(up to 30" monitor) but they do have the LX model which is for up to 24" monitor so depending on your size these arms will allow you to play FS quite easily actually. I think I'm going for the MX arm myself.
