Flash Gordon (Bally 1981) [FS 9.x DX9 FS cabinet release]

This is the last update for a while on this table, because Blackwater 100 is nearly finished, and I already started another table. So I want to close this project.

First of all: You need a DX9 version of VP, the table doesn't work under DX7.

Because I never owned any machine, more or less all resources like sounds, images, and so on were "borrowed" from already released tables. So the credits go to:

Shadowsclassic, Naboodiver, Arngrim, dboyrecords: Thanks for all the testing
Scapino: Many Sounds, lamp matrix, DIP switch routines, some very good ideas and tons of other stuff
JPSalas: Lamp routines, flash routines, some sounds
Koadic: Plunger code and images
Noah: nudging routines
mfuegemann : Sounds and sound routines
Rascal: Sounds
The table is fast... Because I lost the ball very quick each time I played the table, I changed the flipper length a little bit and adjusted the position of the posts near the outlanes.

Have fun!

Congrats to your first table. The ball is much too fast for my taste so I changed the backdrop settings to make it a bit slower:

Inclination 7

FOV 0

Layback 90

X Scale 1.5

Y Scale 2.1

X Offset -410

Y Offset -735

Gravity Constant 1.75

Contact Friction 0.005

Yes, the table is fast.  However, during testing I watched and compared this table to every video of FG I could find, and in all the videos the table is very fast.  In fact Sindbad cranked it down some and I actually think this one is a tad slower than the real ones in the vids.  Anyone out there got access to a real FG that can compare?

First table? Great start buddy! Awesome job.

After the changes the plunger needs more power...

You're right---the plunger doesn't always shoot the ball far enough with the backdrop changes--and---sometimes the ball goes up far enough to trigger that popup and then the ball will get stuck behind it. BUT---agreed--very nice start for a "first table". Thank you

Lolo, you don't use b2s.server as controller, you have only one screen?

Apparently you don't read my post.

Just remove this 1088 line or put a  '  in front of this line.

And to see the DMD, line 133, replace "Hidden=true" by "Hidden=false"

For those who get the 1088 error and do use backglass, rem the line as described above using ' then run the table and press F6, set the options, save the table and the remove the ' from line 1088, all should work.

Big Thank you for this table, really enjoying it!

I did have issues with ball shape and an impossible speed, couldn't see the ball half the time, however the settings above are spot on.  Ball still quick, but now I can see it!

Thaks again Sinbad, keep up the good work!
