Anyone able to run this through hyperpin? It runs fine for me straight from vp but if I try and use hyperpin, when I select the table, it crashes and causes my playfield monitor to stop displaying anything, so I can't see the error message. If I alt tab and exit out of everything, I can see my start bar but when I reload hyperpin it doesn't display anything, so I have to reboot my computer to get things back to normal again.

I am running in Hyperpin. I left mine set to True.

I wonder if Blur or Rosve can help you?

Oh I forgot to try setting it to false...I'll give that a go and see if I can get it to work. My other B2S tables I was able to leave as true, however, I had trouble with the newest Scared Stiff with the GI stuff...so I'll give that a go.

Yeah, same here. Sometimes False works, others times True works. Let us know how you make out...

Well that didn't help. Still does the same thing...I took a video and uploaded it to youtube.

In the video you'll see that it runs fine out of Virtual Pinball, I then exit out of VP and run Hyperpin, scroll over to Haunted Mansion and then I start it and you see the screen goes black...the backglass loads but the screen goes black. The yellow button is my exit game button, which I press repeatedly and nothing happens. Then I alt tab and you can see that only HGGLass1 and Hyperpin are opened. I exit out to windows and then re-open Hyperpin, it loads, but only monitor 2 works now...the playfield monitor stays blank unless I reboot the computer. This happens nomatter if the b2s setting is true or false.

I like how you called the vid 'Haunted House Crashing' smile.gif I make the same naming mistake all the time. Maybe i should have named it something drastically different rather than Haunted Mansion smile.gif

Anyways, Hmmmm, I am not sure man. This is not my area of expertise. Blur i wish would chime in here.

Did you put a BG in the BG folder? Try removing it for now...I find sometimes if i have a BG, it competes with B2S for loading in HP.

What version of FPLaunch are you using?

We will get you going soon i hope! Thanx for the vid. Looks sweet on there!

The launchBackglass should be set to False on all b2s tables if you launch them from HP. This requires that the nme of the VPT file and the B2S file are identical and ends with "B2S"

I have all B2S tables on my HP cab and all are set to FALSE.

@djmichaelbasic,
You run the VP editor on the second screen, maybe move it to the first screen and try.
Test VP with different compatibility modes or if you are using the latest FPLaunch, run VP without compatibility mode.

/Roger

Ah, sorry! Silly me to call it Haunted House. I'm excited for that table as well...but given the fact that I have a season pass to Disneyland and go on the Haunted Mansion ride all the time, I shouldn't make that mistake.

I'm using FPLaunch 1.295 wip 7 and I'm running windows XP so I don't think I'm using any compatibility mode...I'll double check but I don't think I've needed to in the past.

I did make a BG png for the backglass folder, so I'll try taking that out. Going to sleep now, but I'll do more testing tomorrow. I wish I could see the error message...I hear that beep when I select the table that there's some sort of error, but I can't see the message so I don't know what it is.
