The screens I am using:
http://vpforums.org/...reensinbox3.jpg

Initial set-up:
http://vpforums.org/...pinballpc12.jpg

The PC set-up I am using. I mounted the PC on a separate "removable" piece of plywood for easy removal (for upgrading/maintenance once the machine is completed:

The PC goods:

Initial two screen set-up:

Rough-in cabinet assembled:
http://vpforums.org/...etassembly2.jpg

DMD rough-in:
http://vpforums.org/...mdrough-in2.jpg

PC mounted on sliding drawer (ideal for removing PC at a later date to work on, upgrade, maintain, etc...):
http://vpforums.org/...rdtodrawer2.jpg

Sliding drawer w/ hinges mounted, BOSE woofer mounted:
http://vpforums.org/...withwoofer3.jpg

Sliding drawer in out position, I figured with having the drawer accessible from the front will be much easier to get at once the machine is completed and placed in the house (rather than from behind):
http://vpforums.org/...draweropen2.jpg

View from behind lower cabinet with BOSE woofer cut-out exposed:
http://vpforums.org/...fercut-out2.jpg

Cabinet with mounted sliding drawer (w/ removable mounted PC):
http://vpforums.org/...canddrawer2.jpg

And that's about it for now... I hope I inspired some. I don't have alot of tools to do woodworking so I had Lowe's cut the major pieces while I cut the angled pieces and the "inside" pieces.

Thanks for all the sharing of knowledge and ideas.

Stay tuned. smile.gif

Very nice! I'm planning on picking up that same playfield monitor for my standard width cab. Can't wait to see it installed.

I'm using that TV in a Gottlieb system 1 cabinet. I had to router out the sides a little. Here is my build documentation so far: http://forum.arcadec...c,121653.0.html

Here are some updated photos. (This is a standard body build with a 22" lockdown bar - no bezel removed on screens using the Westinghouse LED/LCD screens...)

Thanks Nic! It's been pretty fun tinkering, except my fiancé has been frustrated with devoted time to this thing! She'll get over it...

I am getting ready to buy my screens and was wondering how you like your Westinghouse LED setup? Any kind of motion blur in your playfield?

Hello! These Westinghouse LEDs are amazing. No blurs whatsoever. I have had no problems at all. Also is was nice not having to remove the bezel and casings.
Great price too. You will be very satisfied.
Good luck on your build man. Post pics throughout if you can. dblthumb.gif

Hi Maceman!
Thank you for the compliments. Had alot of fun building considering I'm not much of a woodworker. I just completed the cab last night and will post some pics soon. I still need to get some side artwork.
Most importantly, I need to set up all the tables once again. I just completed renaming all the tables, back glass images and uvp files, but now get a "vpminit" error. Trying to figure out.... tapping.gif
Thanks again. Take care.
Dan

So glad to hear I have influenced someone as I was influenced by the builds members have posted in these forums! Thanks for the compliments! I couldn't be happier with the results.

Looks great!
I think I will do the same thing as you. Dimensions on the screens and not having to remove the bezel.
Looking forward to see some pictures of how it looks when you can't see the bezel anymore.

A quick question: What is the screen dimensions on the 24" screen?

I measured the 24" Westinghouse screen to be 22.7"wide x 14.2"tall x 1.75" thick.

Here are some updates up to completion. As of now, I only need to get some cabinet artwork. Getting 3 prices locally to start. See below for the artwork I am thinking about going with. No words/text. In fact, this machine won't have a name. It's in my home office so I didn't want it to appear "tacky".

And...... This baby is complete!!! Minus the cabinet artwork.

Some Tables running on the three screens (Ugh, UVP's are so darn difficult to set up):

Medieval Madness:

Black Knight:

Elvira and the Party Monsters:

Sure does. I remember playing every weekend as a little one at the bowling alley. Thanks!
