Antar (Playmatic) 1.1

Version: 1.1.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): Mickey (Schinkenpeter)

Description:
Playmatic's Antar (Playmatic System 2)
Antar Playmatic System 2 pinball recreation.

Use 'antar.vbs' which is provided in the file, also I put in 'antar.nv' for easier use.VBS v.3.32 needed

Be aware the ROM is not working to 100%, so sometimes it will need some time to go further (saucer etc) :-) Also Sound is definately not like in the original. You will get a warning from vpinmame by starting the table, just ignore it to play smile.gif

Update 1.1:
-Changed assignment of lites, should be OK now
-Changed backgroundcolour of LED to match the original
-Added letter 'C' to LED to fully support software-settings via key '7'
-Some minor changes at 'antar.vbs"
-Changes on plunger, cause some people got problems

Things to be done in the future:
Trying to remove some of the failures, the not good working ROM produces

thanks man looking forward to playing it. If its a Playmatic recreation though it should be listed under VP9 Recreations not Originals smile.gif

I am not sure. I got no chance to test FS. Maybe in the future...
Anyway, first the backglas lights have to be to 100% fixed
But if anybody wants to convert it, feel free to do it smile.gif

I'm having trouble with the plunger.

Are you having any trouble, Mickey?

@ Sabbat - It's only temporarily in the Originals section, so the author can edit it, if necessary. Recreation sections are limited access.

This game is pretty fun, I like it. The art on the playfield is cool to me and its nice to have a "different" from most table layout to play with smile.gif

Which kind of trouble? The ball is suposed to go back with the plunger, in the middle of plunger-pullback there is some kind of small stuck in the animation, not found out why, by now.
But apart from this I had no troubles so far...

Doesn't go back with the plunger, nor does it launch. I have to nudge the table to get the ball drop all the way down and then launch it. Not sure why.

There must be some failure with the plunger animation in your case, don't ask me why... If more people have problems with this I will remove/improve the animation...

I really like the layout of this table. It plays great.

I get an Antar.vbs error when I load the table, even though I have the file where it should be. I am also getting a pinmame error on load (but I think you mentioned that). Thanks again.

I am starting to think, maybe there are some failures during recompress the rar-file, I used strongest compression... Maybe to pack it again in a selfcompressing file/send without compression????

I sent my files again here: [deleted]
I used a selfcompressing file, so you can also rename it to exe and let compress itself...

I put my antar.vbs into the tables directory and it works for me... I am not sure its the place where it's supposed to be for a custom vbs file...

edit: I updated the upload here now.... sorry was to dump to find the edit button smile.gif

You need vbs version 3.32 and antar.vbs has to be in the tables folder
