I'd like to see the table in that video. I already know how to make reels work on the main screen. smile.gif

Hmmm, I'm sure it's not a trick.
He is not using UVP, as UVP needs pinmame to work with. He is using pinserver and a vbs script file that Manofwar wrote some time ago, before he started to work in UVP. Pinserver is a library (a dll) that allows you to draw things in the screen, and the vbs file simplifies the interface to the library to draw the scores in the backglass.
I haven't still used it, but I can remember people using it some years ago in their pinball cabinets before hyperpin existed, with VP6 in portrait mode...
So be patient, I'm sure akiles will explain it wink.gif

doesn't jps original(Spiderman) use uvp and put reel images on the backglass screen? No rom there.
Either way, i'd like to know how this was done. I promised rawd i'd do triple strike and have all greywolfs images with permission.

Sorry to distract your thread jp. The table is very nice. I don't care to much for em's but you make it look beautiful, i had to add it to my jp collection

Wow, this is really cool... I'd love to have this for all of the EM tables. Please do share how this is accomplished!

I don't understand why you have to wait for the weekend. If this works, I would love to start converting a ton of EM's to FS.

UVP slows my pc down and the table's stutter, so I don't use it.

I haven't tried a spanned table which is what JP's Spider-man is. I'm still hoping for something to be used with FS tables

Moving a DMD to the second monitor doesn't seem to slow my pc down at all.

I hope this is something for Full Screen tables that runs smoothly.

Maybe you could eat your dinner in front of the monitor and explain it to us a little sooner than next week.... Sort of kill 2 birds with the same stone that way. smile.gif

I think he's still drinking and partying to Spain's winning of the World Cup. The party doesn't end for like a week or two later.

JP's Spiderman is an FS table that works with UVP. Highrise somehow got the working reels on the backglass to make the DMD, but they made the last version of UVP especially for that table.

Thanks Rawd, I see it is UVP. I still can't run UVP, but it's nice to see that it can be done.

I did the graphics but it was iceman that got the reels to work. I tried to see how he did it, but I'm not totally sure. The best I can tell you is that it is a hack that changes the UVP numeric system into the reel data I made for the DMD.

Ok. Maybe Iceman can shed some more light on how it is done...

Or maybe Akiles5000 has an easier way?

I'm pretty sure that in this instance you actually have to have a custom-altered version of UVP for that table in particular. Though I may be wrong smile.gif
