This is the 4:3 table.
I don't mind being called a PINHEAD!
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy!

Can you please give us a lo-rez version of doctor who, please??? I tried to play the hi-rez version but it says " cannot create offscreen surface" When i uncheck the HD Render, then it displays very crappy/poorly: in other words, it shows only a few images cleanly and is very streaky...

Please send us a Lo-rez version...Thanks

Richard.

THanks guys for this awesome release. The table is so beautiful and the flashers are fantastic. The table looks a bit to small.

i was way off :P

i think i will spend the next few days playing around with the table in 4:3 mode there is many things that don't look as good as they did on the fs version
so by the weekend, expect an update to all versions i will adjust the flipper settings and a few other things first.
i may even try and do the 7 doctor backglass lights.
i am already stuck into my next release that i will give more info with everyone when the i get a bit further along.

I think that the table angle on this 4:3 version could use some work and better rails images on the backdrop and maybe even a lockbar image. The 7 Doctor backglass lights would be nice to have as well, over the table and leave a place to put the DMD.

I currently have this table version set at a inclination of 52 and the field of view at 39 with a new backdrop image and new rail images and the table looks good with the changes. I did the same thing for your South Park 4:3 table BTW.

The FS version of this table is very nice and it would nice to have a good looking 4:3 version as well. If you look at how JP has his table angle set on his 4:3 table versions that may help you out. Thanks and I look forward to the update. wink.gif

I am not sure why this is happening but I am getting a script error when trying to run this table. The errors point to these lines.

Line 22 ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile("B2Bcollision.vbs")
Line 66 vpmInit Me

I thought I had all of the scripts and I am not sure why suddenly I am having issues. I looked but I apparently I don't have "B2Bcollision.vbs". I downloaded the high res version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave Bock

Just a couple of things not working properly:

Doctor #5 selected light by pops does not come on when you choose or teleport him.
Teleport light by Teleport target does not flash when teleport is ready (but light stays on).
Ball just FLYS when shot upper left around the Time Manipulator! I can't even see it! Anyway to slow that down?

Also, at the end of the "O" (multipier) loop, the grey ramp masks the top left flipper, so timing it for
another loop to increase the multipilier is guesswork.

Thank you for a great machine!

I have actually played this table long ago.
I remember when you locked both balls, the center console raised up to reveal 5 bumpers.
Then, during multiball, it raised again to reveal the 3 doors.
Is the program limited on doing such a thing or is it just not programmed?

I'm not sure about this version of it, but the FS version is programmed as you state above. I'm pretty sure that this version would be as well since they are both done by OZ.

I don't know why nobody else has mentioned this problem.. the ball becomes invisible as soon as it reaches the bottom 1/3 of the table.. and only just becomes visible the second it exits through the flippers..

Any one know why?

DOCTOR WHO TABLE FIX (AND GENERATING A WORKING NVRAM FILE):
-----------------------------------------------------------
To avoid hearing "Warning: Keep hands away from mini playfield" all the
time during attract mode/during gameplay, to avoid always having the
coin door open, and to have the ability to open the coin door....

1. Delete \Visual Pinball\nvram\dw_l2.nv
Delete \Visual Pinball\cfg\dw_l2.cfg (This probably doesn't matter)

2. Change the Controller.Switch(24) lines to "= 0".
For Jamin's VP8 table v1.1.0, change lines 98.
For Unclewilly/oooPLAYER1ooo's VP9 tables v1.0, change lines 80
and 179.

Controller.Switch(22) = 1 'Coin Door Closed switch' closes the coin door (but you can still open it with [End]).
Controller.Switch(24) = 0 'Always Closed switch' makes the coin door "unopenable" as far as the game rom is concerned (you can't use the [End] key).
Controller.Switch(82) = 1 'Playfield Glass switch' acts like the glass is in the table so you don't hear the warning all the time.

3. Run Visual Pinball and start the table.
When it says "Factory Settings Restored" press [Esc] and quit back
to the VP editor--For some reason pressing [F3] to restart VPinMAME
does not do enough, you must exit back to the editor.
Start the table!
