The Addams Family VP91X 2.0

Version: 2.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): melon

Description:
The Addams Family - based on the table by Bally from 1992
TBased on the 1992 Bally Addams Family.
Thanks to all the betatesters involved.
Thanks to Leo for the backdrop and for the hand pics, thanks to ChispaMaster for the plastified look, thanks to Lord Hiryu, UW and Groni for some of the images and sounds used and of course thanks to JPSalas, many of the sounds and textures are from him.

Revision 1.01. (01 - May - 2010)
The ball now shouldn't get stuck at any places in the table.

Revision 1.02. (06 - May -2010)
Fixed the boockase lock entrance
Fixed the "two balls at the same time" issue.
Added the hole walls graphics to the kicker holes and some missing plastics.
Added the metal wire for the apron.
Added missing animation for the ring of the red bumper
Improved thing flips.
Some code cleaning.
Adjusted physics, acording to JP's standards, now the table plays faster. If it's too fast to you, just change the Global Difficulty Level to something lower (value between 0 and 1, it's set by default to 0,5)

Revision 2 (1 - November - 2011)
Massive Update.
Updated to VP91X: Transparent ramps, transparent plastics. New Screws, nuts, pegs... New metal and wood textures, new flashers, new sounds, new physics, added missing sensor (sensor 58 at the end of the ramp) and losts of little adjustments I just can't remember!

mmm, I thought I solved it allready, no one of the betatesters noticed it, strange thing, I'll take a look at it. Anyway try to nudge when that happens.

Melon, your new table is breathtaking. The flipper settings are very well and the table looks very clear.

The animated hand is the absolue madness. cool.gif cool.gif cool.gif

Best version I've played so far. it even surpasses Pacdudes versions with ease!. On my first credit I became GC (look at screenie), but I must say the difficulty is perfectly adjusted/balanced in this VP9 version. Can't wait to play the FS version aswell!. Excellent work!! smile.gif

THANKS Melon!!! This table looks GORGEOUS! The solid coloured ramps match the authentic design and the flipper aiming is very good! The ball feels very lightweight though...

For everyone who thinks that the viewing angle is very low, try changing the inclination value to 58...it looks perfect!

Well, PD's version is a very very good one, but I wanted to do my own version of the table. And... great score man!

I wanted do do it angle independent because of this. If somedody prefers other angle only need to change a number in the editor. I like the view angle, but I know some people like to see if more from upside.
About the ball being lightweight, maybe it needs more inclination, and the gravity constant may need to be raised.

How did it happen? I never saw that before! I will take a look at it, and at some other bugs that might be there (I've allready fixed the other one that Gordon noticed) and will release an updated version soon.
