Rolling Stones VP9 1.01FS

Version: 1.0.1
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): jpsalas

Description:
Based on the table by Bally from 1980.
This is the FS version of the table.

Update 1.01:

- Fixed missing light
- Enabled the DMD

If you don't see the DMD then you need to uncomment the line 54

'.SetDisplayPosition 0,0,GetPlayerHWnd
This will move the DMD to left corner.

Does everybody else have a DMD on this table? For some reason I do not have any scores displayed. Tried it a couple of times but still no luck. Any Ideas?

Anyhow thank you JP for another beautiful table. It's truly amazing how fast you make tables.

Hi,

I'm sure it's just a minor oversight on JP's part, he did after all upload 6 or 7 tables yesterday, so I presume a fix will be coming shortly.

In the mean time there are 3 things you need to change in the script to make the DMD re-appear so that you can drag it to where ever you wish.

First, search for this:
CODE
.Hidden = 1
and then change it to this:
CODE
.Hidden = 0

Second, search for this:
CODE
.SetDisplayPosition 1600, 1600, GetPlayerHWnd
and then change it to this:
CODE
.SetDisplayPosition 0, 0, GetPlayerHWnd

Next you will need to click on "Script --> Compile" and then run the table once which will reset the DMD to the top corner of your display.

Third, search again for this:
CODE
.SetDisplayPosition 0, 0, GetPlayerHWnd
and then change it to this:
CODE
'.SetDisplayPosition 0, 0, GetPlayerHWnd

NOTE** the change to this line is minor, you only add an apostrophe at the beginning of the line to comment it out, thus VP9 will ignore this script command. If you don't, the display position will keep returning to the 0, 0 co-ordinates instead of where ever you drag the DMD to.

Good Luck.

Best Regards,
Todd.

Too much "copy/paste" and I forgot to change those lines. Do I need to make a an update? I guess most of you add the UVP, move the dmd to another screen and things like this, so most of you know how to change this setting.

I think most of the people that are downloading FS tables have the knowledge to make those simple changes. The problem, is that we are all running different setups for these tables, and we need to make adjustments ourselves. Some use the DMD, some use UVP. No biggie.

I have updated the table to fix a missing light. I have also changed the dmd settings. But I guess most of you will need to uncommant the line 54 to set the DMD to 0,0 (the left top corner).

was quite sure to already reported these 2 soft bugs (bah)

- "special" outlanes are inverted with the switches
- same with the "special" roll over

and about gameplay, may be (just me ?) the slingshots have to be tweaked "less sensitive", if a ball fall (even slowly) right along the sling, it detect it and shoot it, as it will not do it in real

nope JP, as you know me, no complain but just to tweak the more accurate we can, always aiming for perfection ;)

the "special" lights (walls) is easy & quick to correct by ourself, but not sure evbd can do it...
