Hey Bob5453 do you know that the Main Event sign isn't standing up in your 4:3 table like it does in the F\S table . I was just wondering about that . It doesn't matter because you created a masterpiece play field with this table . Thanks for the creation Bob5453.
It's not a sign. I erased the boxing gloves from the Ali playfield, because I didn't like the graphic. I just replaced it with the words MAIN EVENT written on the playfield. You can't see it as well on the 4:3 version, because the table is at an angle and you are looking at it from the front of the table. The Full Screen version shows the table from a birds eye view, so you can see the whole playfield better.
It really is amazing playing these tables in Full Screen, I don't think I could go back to playing Horizontal tables again. You don't need a cabinet, you just need a widescreen monitor and a makeshift stand and then physically turn the monitor when you want to play
VP. I just added a 12 inch board to my desk that is on hinges, I raise the board, reach up (still sitting in my chair) and physically turn a 23 inch widescreen monitor (the new ones are very lightweight) and then lean it against the back of by computer cabinet (notice the 3 rubber circles at the top of my cabinet, so I don't scratch the monitor.)
Total cost for my Full Screen playing experience.
Monitor - 200 dollars
12inch board - laying in the basement
2 hinges - I have a whole box of them in the basement as I disasemble things before I throw them away. Living in the same house with a basement for 35 yrs. has its advantages.
Normal view pic below, notice piece of wood in front of monitor (rubber strips in back so it doesn't scratch my monitor.)
HyperPin Frontend view pic, notice backglass on 4:3 monitor matches game, just scroll through your tables and pick a game to play, hit return and you'll never play 4:3 tables again, all this and I never had to get out of my rocker-recliner.
Think about standing up and looking down at a pinball table, now if you stay sitting, and place your widescreen monitor sideways at about 75-80 degree angle (leaning back) you have the best of both worlds right in front of you.
