Hi all, it has been ages since I've posted. I'm a member since the earliest days of VP. Got me so into the hobby that I now have 12 pins in my basement. I still check in here to see what is up & I regularly play Pinball FX. However, I do sometimes still miss what this hobby has to offer. So what is stopping me? Proper controller support. I am unlikely to get a cab. I love playing at my computer with my large OLED screen. However, where Pinball FX has spoiled me is with their controller support. The way I can nudge with my left joystick either a tiny bit or a lot, & it really adds to the experience. I've tried many times over the years to get a controller properly working with VP and I've never been satisfied. I know VP is always being worked on & it has been a couple years since I've tried. My question is if it is possible to nudge just like I can in Pinball FX using a microsoft or PS5 controller?

Hey Rob. Long time. In my opinion. The vpx 10.8 doesn't really cut the mustard with nudging on my Xbox 1 controller. I feel like the vpx 10.8.1 which 8s still in development works much better with a c9ntroller.
The input is all set from within the player using the f12 menu. I use the bgfx version and enable the plugins rather then the legacy versions of pinamae and pup. Makes for a simple and easy install. Just unzip the bgfx into a folder.
Set the tables up us8ng a folder for each table.
The folders have everyth8ng for the table inside... rom, b2s, pupvideos. And the built 8n plugins handle the rest.
