Hi!

I just got a quest 3 and did an entire setup with vpx launcher.
I works... But...
The other visual pinball install on another folder just had all of it settings overwritten.
Is there a way to have different settings on vpx in different folders or do I have to redo them everytime I want to play flat/vr?
Also have a few questions regarding vr...
Even if I setup for high end, some of the textures, especially for the rails and lamps look really bad. Is there anyway to improve that?
And I'm noticing that in some tables, the table keep changing placing when moving my head. Performance issue?
And... While the head is still the performance is solid, but when moving I get skipped frames.

Yes, parallel installs are allowed and supported.

As Tesla sad, is possible to install in separated folders only the VPinball.exe.

Vpinmame, Backgalssserver, DMDextensions, pupvideos and FlexDMD I don´t believe.Maybe

Keep in mind that Vpinball.ini file will keep yhe same for any Vpinball 10.8 folder you have.

 

About VR, can you tell about your Hardware setup?

MB, CPU, Memory, PS and CPU.

Your issue looks like GPU memory is not enough.

2. These "follow" the root folder of the VPX .EXE you used to start the table ... and there can be multiples of those VPX "installs".

 

3. These I tend to install fairly "standalone" (in root) but they are available for use by any current Instance of VPX running.

 

Like I said ... even accounting for the supplemental programs, it seems to work fine here on Windows-11 Pro (64-bit).

 

I don't use NailBuster, VR, or VPX-Launcher so I can't comment on those. But those are just different Front-Ends and VR is just like a different display.
