I have noticed that tables which use flex DMD (such as Jaws 50th, Bond 60th, etc) do not load for me. The backglass loads, I hear the table music and I can see the DMD (even tho it is static and not working) however the table playfield does not load. It just sits on a black screen with a spinning cursor until it eventually crashes out.

 

All my software is up to date (that I am aware of).

 

Any ideas on what is causing this?

Take a look in your backglass server version

I had a similar issue with 2.1.4 I think. Now I'm playning with 2.1.5 that's work fine for me

Well, if the Playfield appears and works with more-normal (vPinMame) rom-based VPX tables ... including the Backglass appearing (with B2S-Server) I would tend to say all those are good.

 

Flex-DMD games sounds like these need work:

DMDextensions v2.3.0.0

FlexDMD v1.9.1.0

 

You mentioned "software being up-to-date" so this is what I run:

 

VPX v10.8.0 (32/64 bit)

vPinMame v3.6 (SC version in 32/64 bit)

DMDextensions v2.3.0.0

FlexDMD v1.9.1.0

B2S-Server v2.1.4

DOF [MJR 7-2025] (32/64 bit)

 

On Windows-11 Pro (64 bit) v24H2
