When will VPinMAME be able to emulate Spike 1?

I understand that VPinMAME won't emulate any current hardware (Spike 2 and 3), but Spike 1 has been out of production for years now! The last Spike 1 game which is Ghostbusters came out in March 2016 nearly 10 years ago! I'd assume the license has expired by now and it's last software update was in 2019!

Anyone have any idea when Spike 1 will be emulated by VPinMAME?

It really doesn't matter.  Most of these spike 1 games have fully scripted versions with no rom and are done so well, they play just like the originals...

stern may port the older spike 1 and 2 games to run on spike 3 cpu boards.
