Hello All,

i have Visual Pinball 10.8 installed with B2S, VPinMame and then FlexDMD, DMDext, Freezy etc.
I set the 3 Screens with the B2S Screen Identifier. Backglass and Playfield are fullsized. DMD Screen is bigger then the hole so i scaled the Screen Identifier.

When i start Visual Pinball Tables over PinballX the size of the DMD is diffrent to what i set with B2S. I set VPinMAME to use external DMD.
If i change the size by dragging it, setting the size in Registry or in the config, then he just changes the setting again after a restart of the table.
Where can i set a global setting for all DMDs that doesnt change?

Also: If he uses DMDext and i change the size and set it globally. After i start the table i see the DMD like i set it but after 2 seconds he resets to the original settings again.

Best Regards

Marvin

Can you alt tab and look if you have both the external DMD and the table DMD displayed (on top)? If yes you'll need to disable it in B2S or F1 settings. The Virtual DMD you can right click and set globally, or open Dmddevice.ini and edit the default pixel values at the beginning of the document.

Hello again :D.

I think i disabled the DMD in B2S or have it set on "Hidden". I clicked the DMD and dragged it around. It was definetly DMDext as a program.
As i said the settings in the config files resettet after i started a table.

If im correct PinballX DMD settings has nothing to do with the DMD ingame and Visual Pinball also doesnt have its own DMD settings right?

@Doahrn

Press ALT TAB to see it

If DMD is there, it is fine.

Did you play with 2 or 3 screens?

Do you have the scaling of all monitors set to 100% for all screens?

Windows display settings, each display needs to be set at 100% scaling, Windows likes to set 125% or 150% by itself sometimes.

Check in PinballX settings, under Display Settings do you have Auto Position DMD set to yes? That could affect the DMD position in game (if for some reason you have PinballX using a different DMD location than ingame)
