EDIT - sorry I thought this was on wips. Can it be moved there please?
For those wondering what I've been up to
I have two tables underway. First, IGF, based on a story series I might publish one day, and second is a silly mod of Sorcerer (Williams, 1985) by JP, theme twisted into "Saucerer." Art and layout changes.
Art for Saucery was assisted with a new ai tool called Whisk, where you feed it multiple images as well as text prompts, an image for "subject", "style" and scene, using your original sketches to give it inspiration. I thought that sounded interesting and this was the result after a few hours in Photoshop tidying it up as AI is not real smart (still a lot to do though) as prompts I gave it my original sketch and text prompts for subject, a photo of a Sorcerer whiteboard for scene, I had to add into the text prompts "flat Playfield image, not full game" before I got anything decent, and some basic cartoonish pictures for style, as well as a detailed text prompts to say what I wanted done to the original sketch. AI still can't make a Playfield to save itself, but Whisk comes closer than anything else to date. It even made a few layouts in the artworks it gave that might be interesting to play with later.
