Hello JP,

There a some things different like the table should be:

1 When game over all balls that are locked are coming out again! They should  stayed in so you  play once more!  Was correct in Scottacus version.

2 In multiball  when you shoot the hole once more, the ball comes out but it should be in!

3 When game over and the locked in ball  comes out  a super bonus is added!  Also not in the original pinball machine!

If you could fix these bugs, it would be fantastic!  Thank you JP

In an multiball game, when a ball hits the drain, closed zipper flippers should stay closed, but here they open.

UPDATE

1.0.1 Updated 06.03.2025
- some small fixes, like not releasing the balls at game over, the kickers always locking the balls.
- the center mushroom now zip the flippers during multiball.

Now, all those issues should be fixed :)

Hallo JP,

Thanks for the update. I did some testing and found a small bug again.

When the locked balls are released and shoot them in again, I still get extra balls!

So without losing the ball(s) during gameplay!

So for example ball 1 in play, and shoot 1 or 2 in the holes and you release them  you keep getting extra balls!

I hope you know what I mean JP!

if you fix this bug also the table would be perfect!

Thanks for sharing this masterpiece! I like it very much!

Yes, I understand. I thought it was too easy after you get first a multiball :) That's why during the multiball in the first version, I made the kickers to kick the balls back. So, you mean that during multiball the kickers should still lock the balls, but they should not give an extra ball. What happens then, when you lock two balls and you do not have any more balls? Should the table go to the end of ball mode? That will complicate things quite a lot :) But it is not difficult to correct :)

UPDATE

1.0.2 Updated 06.03.2025
- Locking a ball during a multiball does not give an extra ball anymore.

I guess this is the last update, unless I have not understood the bug right :) But I think so :) But I can always make a version 1.0.3 and 1.0.4...

My next table will be easier to make since just 1 unit was produced :D So I guess nobody knows the rules and I can tweak it like I want. You may start to guess the table ;)

Sounds very unlikely to find someone in here, who's favorite pinball is that single produced one. I guess you get to dictate the rules JP :)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

From the pinballprimer site (https://pinballprime...onco_GR6bk.html):

Balls can be relocked during multiball. Relocking a ball is effectively the same as draining a ball during multiball. If one ball gets relocked and another ball gets drained in quick succession or vice versa, watch the backglass closely to see if the game registered the drain or the relock last. If the drain was registered before the relock, your turn will continue, but if the relock registered first and then the ball drained, your turn will end.

But don't take this as gospel. At least the paragraph about the pop bumper scoring on this site is wrong.

I just had a few games (3 ball per game) which ended after the second ball, after hitting a saucer.

I need some more information. But this may happen as the "Relocking a ball is effectively the same as draining a ball during multiball." So, if you were in a multiball then you ball will end. I'll need to test more the table, as I only have tested it with 5 balls per game, but it should work the same with 3 balls per game.

Ok, I'll attempt to guess JP's next table; can I have three guesses?

Bill Paxton Pinball - Ben Heck

Derby Daze - Sega Pinball

Good Morning America - Stern

Lost - Ben Heck

Ok, I took a fourth guess.......

I need some more information.

More detailed: When i played the second ball i had one locked ball, so after hitting the blue mushroom i had a multiball with two balls. One of the balls drained. A minute or so later, i hit the saucer with the remaining ball... Game over.

This behavior is contrary to the text i cited above: If the drain was registered before the relock, your turn will continue...

I will download your new version and will report next night.

Might it be ... Star <don't want to spoil> from Bally ?
