Okay I am painstakingly creating custom backglasses for the table on my cab. The new backglasses show the correct depth, and they are much more true to scale. The example below is obviously a Stern SAM backglass as shown on the monitors. Also, thats a real WPC backbox.

So now, I have empty space on the side of the images to fill, and I would like to add something in there other than solid black. My current example show whiskey bottles on a bar wall, but anything can really be added in. I added some pins from some online arcade pics, but it does not really shown them very well. The area is just too thin.

Any other ideas as to what would look good in these empty areas? Sorry, cant do strippers. Wife would be pissed. LOL

Thanks.

Perhaps some narrow shots of the characters like this:

There is a ton of art you can select from the following site.  You might find something you like better:

Thanks. I do want to clarify that I want a common background for all table backglasses, and it should not tie into any of the table themes at all.

What I have now simply looks like pins in front of a bar. I am not firm on this and don't mind expiramenting.

@wrd1972 I was also gonna say that you could add table-specific artwork from the cabinet side art, there's an interesting collection of backglass stencil art created by Protomech over at VPU..

still, maybe some of the designs could be an inspiration for a general theme? Most of those look so cool.

I am using a 5:4 aspect ratio monitor for the backglass so I have a lot less trouble with correct aspect ratios, for the space usually taken by the backglass speakers (left and right of the virtual DMD) I created small logos with my family name in the style of the Bally logo, maybe that could be another idea. Always wanted a machine with my name on it ;)

Maybe some dark red curtains so it looks like a stage.
