Hello all,

I've decided to start down the path of VPX. When installing DOF, I always get the error below. I have changed permissions of my folders, messed around with admin settings, etc... But this keeps happening.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Setup wasn't able to create the B2S Plugins shortcut to the DirectOutput installer folder. Thie shortcut is needed so that B2S can find the DirectOutput files when you start a game. The shortcut file that Setup tried to create is "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Plugins\...\B2STableSettings.xml'..)

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

The error note cuts off there, and seems to be missing some directory names between Plugins and the XML file. Is it possible to place the required shortcut manually? Any help would be appreciated!

You don't need to change permissions or run a program as admin or something similar..

yes, the DOF links can be created manually.

Please take a look at my documantary, where the whole installation is described in detail. Link in my footer.

Please take care, what version to download and how to install the software
