Thanks for the link, mate!! I was really hoping for someone skilled to be working on this.
Even with a decent 3D model of the table itself, without PUP pack and not knowing the rules (plus working alone) I could have never done it!
I hope they finalize and release it soon!!

I guess this is the extent of my efforts :wimper:

Inaccurate, incomplete 3D model..... eeh.

Gotta really wait for someone to make the dream come true. It's been a fun run though.

at least alien has an full restore iso image that can be updated to latest.

also the media in that iso image or the updates is not encrypted.

the real hardware does not work that well if you read the facebook groups.

May not need an slow pinmame emulator (for an X86-64 pc) Just may need to get VM to see the usb driver boards or talk to fake ones.

looking at that iso image.
and the games seems to be open to SSHD by default with
PermitRootLogin yes

networking set to
iface enp1s0:0 inet static
address 10.0.0.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 10.0.0.1

root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash

root:$1$OzYozS39$pAmaOrhr4pE7P9kW86IfO/:17156:0:99999:7::: decodes to q

Hey Joe, I understand nothing about scripting.... but could it be that what you are saying is that the videos are basically available to anyone who owns the iso, and that event triggers could be activated with not much effort?

any one can download the ISO + updates and all video will just play no encrypted files at all.

I think you may able to just VM the game and just need to do emulation with the driver boards.

Sorry, what do you mean with "just VM the game"?
Consider that I did my best with the 3D model, wich is a bit imprecise and misses all the textures (for now).
But, if I completed the bare table model, someone did the table programming, and someone else worked on a PUP pack to integrate with the Limited Version of the table.... maybe....we could bring it to (digital) life!
I guess if I go back to modelling it maybe someone would feel inspired to give a hand.

In theory someone needs to get the game code running in an VM and just needs to do emulation with the driver boards to get an table up and running.

Maybe you better could contact the v p w on the other site. They have a team of specialists and they could help you if they have time and see potential in the project.
