Initial announcement from Jeff:
Gottlieb's Super Soccer. Thanks to Tamoore allowing me to use his resources, I created the VPX version of this table. Carlos Guizzo provided some really nice backglass images which were used in the creation of the B2S for this table. 
NOTE: DOF Users - the table will probably try to use Tamoore's table config for DOF. Try using the configuration from 300 or Top Score and you should see better results. Sorry, I'm still new to actually using DOF so your results may vary.
 

My view on "Super Soccer": Was not my favorite game, but I liked to play it After about 45 years the impression is different: the options to rise AND earn bonus on the playfield gives the game additional thrill. Today I offer you my version 1.0c with these changes:
 
 
Playfield
 
- new physic (cab optimized),
- new flipper caps without the black spot (thanks to mrtr32) 
- improved ball and ball position in the plunger lane (different plunger sound with or without ball)
- light- indicators adjusted in brightness and a few in color
- metal sheets at middle of playfield  now in better appearance
- outer bumpers parallel engaged (thanks to jejepinball & kiwi)
- new timing for ball release - now after player up alternator ends
- the bumper triggers are now in colored plastic
- animated spinner- rods added, holes into playfield "drilled"
- rolling sound level adjusted
- new POV for cab use
- all object sounds now in operation
- in game over state the plastics illumination stays on (the original behavior of all Gottlieb EMs)
 
Backglass
 
- rolling score reels 
- few snippits for an improved score reels illumination and avoiding overexposure at color edges at can play- indication, illuminated boy and game name
- score memory: when you leave the table and reload it the score of the previous use will be indicated
-> attention: I changed the nv ram concept in order to implement this functionality, if you have still a nv ram in the user- folder delete it or replace it with the nv ram you find in the zip file (it is the Super Soccer_75VPX.txt), otherwise the table will crash when loading the 1st time.
- thanks to Jeff's provident script is was easier than I thought to synchronize sound and reset action of the reels
- no click sounds from the BG anymore, no interference between BG and game sounds
-> thanks to Jarr3 for his sound removal tool for BGs
  
- ZIP contains game, BG file, nv ram (Super Soccer_75VPX.txt) -> "User"- directory, BG- and PF- pics for cab users
 
All this in kind tribute to Jeff Whitehead.
